  • Stumped about porn use and EQ

    So I've been jelqing for awhile and have always used porn to keep myself in the jelqing range of about 60% erection. Always have done this because I don't live with very much privacy and must complete my routine in the precious 1 or 2 hrs alone time I can get without being disturbed. I usually do about 400 jelqs with 150 V-jelqs and about 50 half jelqs before I finish off with some ulis and I usually go for 4-5 second jelqs if I can all while using porn intermittently to keep myself erect between roughly 100-125 jelqs. Then its stretching for about 12-15 mins without porn of course. The problem is I quickly lose my erection without porn and dont have time to get myself back up to that level of erection to complete my workout.

    1) So is using porn really that horrible for PE?

    So at this point it'd be pretty hard for me to cut the porn without basically losing out on effective workouts so I was thinking that maybe I could perhaps use it a little smarter without any horrible effects.

    2) For example if I used pictures only, or used them just to get the erection and not to sustain it(similar to what I do right now but with videos in between)?

    If not then I'd have to settle for jelqing at a much lower erection level to complete it in a decent time, maybe like 30-40% and my next question would be if jelqing at that erection level is bad?
    3) I heard its better to use lower erection levels for length anyway and I am a bit more concerned with length for now but is 30-40% too low?

    And finally I was wondering what specifically I could do to improve erection quality in terms of other exercises with or without porn use, this is just a bonus and I know my post is already loaded with questions to begin with but I really need help and am terrified the porn with this PE is destroying me rather than building me.

    Nope i been watching porn since day one of P.E. Sometimes i do without porn depends on mood.

      I assume you've been watching porn for a long time and you used it as your main method for masturbation. Sorry to say but this is the effect porn has on you, it's the same with me. It makes you become dependent on porn or other sexual stimulation to achieve a good EQ. I've actually seriously cut down on porn to once every 7 or 14 days and I can now get much harder than I used to without even looking at porn or sexual images. I plan on cutting porn out completely soon and my advice is either cut it out of your life or seriously cut down on it because it has so many negative impacts on your life. Not worth it mate!

        also for improving erection quality, I'd say try to perfect kegeling and edging but edging will be hard to do without porn at first.

              Thank you so much for the responses guys! Well I'm going to try to greatly lessen the porn use as I hardly think I can straight up cut it off completely and still PE. Any advice with respect to the using porn more responsibly(pictures only, only to get erection then turn it off, one workout per week, less jelqing and thus less need for porn?)

                Just cut out all porn. Eventually you'll get horny/hard by touching your dick. Eventually you'll get horny/hard by thinking of sex.

                The other day my banana launched up like a missile, out of the middle of nowhere. I tried ignoring it, but it chose to not ignore me.

                Balance your pelvic floor. Stop porn. You'll be happy you did. I no longer need kegels to get hard and/or maintain erection. Porn is meh to me now; sure ain't what it used to be. I'm a free man.

                  Okay noted gonna try to cut out the porn completely. I'm just worried about the loss in intensity for my workout. I really hope it doesn't demotivate me into stopping. I have a tendency to hold to go hard or go home and especially for this I feel like I really gotta put emphasis on the HARD.

                  Anything in particular I should be doing? Lowering reps on the jelqing?

                    Stick with your workout and jelqing, cut out all porn, if you masturbate too much then minimize it to once a week (this works best for my EQ levels) and you should find within 1-4 weeks your EQ levels will be better than they've been in a long time and you will be able to get a quality erection without porn or pictures. 1-4 weeks of struggling to jelq properly will be nothing in the long term and you will be thankful for the new and improved EQ from stopping porn and minimizing ejaculation.

                      If your looking for length, do plenty of stretches and jelqs. After 4 months of HARD conditioning or so you could induce a device.
