  • Wet Dreams, negative or positive?

    Few questions...
    1) Does this mean (im 19) I am just rolling in testosterone, and still in a somewhat earlier stage of puberty? I don't think I am on the last part of that question, but I was a late bloomer so meh.

    2) I quit porn and masturbation after 5ish years i'd say. Is this just my body/mind craving to cum, and get that chemical release while my conscious self is asleep and unable to stop it?

    3) Any benefits to it? I am asleep with all these good chemicals being released so will they be put to use better within the body, or help relax me more when I wake up. Because when you think about it your already in a really relaxed state asleep, but then you have an ORGASM while asleep there has to be some type of meaning besides to clear the pipes.

    LMK!

Same thing happened to me when I quit porn, for the first few weeks at least. I'm no expert so I don't know if it's good or bad. I think a good way to judge that would be on the behavior you have in the dream itself, that would still be subjective though. What I mean is are they porn style fantasies or realistic dreams?

This is positive and nothing to worry about.
If you find the wet dreams inconvenient, go ahead and have sex (or masturbate) at bed time. (Stay off the porn though.)

I honestly just think it's a way for your body to regulate itself. It's dangerous for you to never masturbate, because it has been researched to lead to prostate cancer. Your body is just finding a way to release itself after a while. I am 28 and I still have them frequently. I also gave up porn and masturbating.

Do t worry about it two2. I miss wet dreams. Believe me when you're my age you will too. So enjoy. Believe it or not, women have them too, without the mess. My wife has sleeping orgasms all the time, so fun to watch.
A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

I was getting mad as I am into Taoist way of preserving my sperm but just happened to me 20 minutes ago in my nap time and well I think is your body regulation as you said.

I read an article about a month ago where "leading researchers" (or something like that) said males should ejaculate on average 21 times or more a month which can reduce the risk of prostate cancer by 22%.

Just found it: Prostate cancer risk in men can be lowered 20% by daily orgasms | Daily Mail Online
