Hi. I was wondering if exercises like the barbell hip thrust, even padded, may reduce or impair blood flow to the penis, thus lowering EQ in the long run. Or is most of the blood involved in an erection coming from under the pubic bone ?

Hmm good question I do not do this exercise. The blood flow is sub surface but the pressure in high weight situations may still have an effect . You would think the time period of the exercise is too short for long term effect but the truth is I do not know.

Thanks. I am avoiding this kind of stuff before to know more. There are very good substitutes anyway.

I think having healthy mass in the glutes would help eq, that's where some of the blood is coming from to fuel the erection.

Pressing on the ligament itself with the non-stretching hand while one is performing stretches can add another vector of stress.

I have been doing that same exercise, very heavy for a while now with no issues. I'm of the mindset that heavy compound exercises like that, squats, deadlifts, etc will actually help with PE.
