When measuring girth..

When measuring girth, how tight you put the measuring tape around your shaft? If so the tightest that I can it can be 4.5. If just light tight it's 4.7. If I let it be loose but fairly lightly tight around the shaft it's 4.9-5.

Now I know it doesn't really matter as long as you measure the same way every time. But how you are doing it?

Also, where do you take base measurements? There is the base of the shaft where the scrotum skin is not attached and there is part of the shaft base where the scrotum skin is attached. There is is noticeable difference between the two.

Good question.

For any girth measurement I keep it quite tight. I try not to compress the penis at all (squeezing the shaft), but I try to make sure there are absolutely no empty spaces from the tape going over the veins or the CS, which would give a few extra milimetres. I try to make it so it almost looks like I'm measuring it in a vacuum chamber. The tape looks like it's 'glued' to the penis. At this point in time, I am getting a girth of about 4.95 doing this, but If I just had it around without minding those empty spaces I would get a girth of 5-5.1 inches, so it makes a bit of a difference.

I personally find that it's best to keep your worst case scenario as a base level, and take your 'official' current stats as the lower end of the results you get, provided you are doing everything correctly.

The measuring implement should be so tight you compress the penis. As long as you encompass the entire girth without leaving gaps you'll be measuring accurately.
