  • Soap for lubrication purposes?

I have been using vaseline from the get go but it takes over 5 minutes to get rid of it?

Can I use soap as lube?

Soap dries out the skin. You should use a water soluble personal lube. Walmart (equate) offers about 6 oz for about $3

Agreed, soap is a terrible idea for lubrication. It can irritate the urethra in addition to drying out the skin. Olive oil, baby oil gel, and coconut oil are all also good alternatives. I use a dirty shirt to clean up after those.

I found coconut oil works the best for me. Doesn't dry out and easy to clean off. Good for the skin as well.

Mineral oil is cheap and effective. Platinum Wet (Silicone lube) is the best though.

Be careful with perfumed soaps or conditioners on the penis. Chemical burns and/or keratinization is possible when using harsh products on the sensitive skin of the penis.
