  • Can't Stay Hard Enough to properly Jelq

    Okay. I really think I'm not jelqing properly. I know people say atleast get 30% erect, but to be honest I can't even stay like that for very long. I end up getting some decent pressure to the head still, but not really expanding. Are these jelqs useless? How do you guys stay hard enough to actually jelq with good pressure? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. I often find myself sitting there for 5 mins having to get turned on enough to get a halfie so I can jelq 5 or 10 times and then its gone again.

      Well the reason I ask is thus.

      If you're doing a load of stretches before jelqing, this can effect some people's ability to get erect. Stretching wares your dick out.

      If not and you just generally find it hard to get yourself erect then that's an erection quality issue.

      In that case you probably want to make some gains towards your ability to get hard before you worry about length and girth.

      With a better EQ and ability to get erect you should find making length and girth gains easier in the future. For example your original post. If you could easily get and stay at 50% you wouldn't be making this thread. You'd just be happily jelqing away.

        Yeah, so its definitely an EQ problem. And yes now I am only doing jelqing. But how do I get EQ better. I do kegels all the time, so I know that ain't working. I also take supplements. I'm healthy and go to the gym 5 times a week as well. Thanks for the help.

          Big als the man you want to reach out to here. He doesn't mind a Pm.

          I'd probably look at dropping jelqs and working on edging. Personally I hate edging but that's because I get ball ache easily. However I still edge and put up with it as it helps EQ.

          So yeah, edge and kegal. Kegal while edging, erect kegal and kegal when just sitting around.

          Reverse kegal. There's a good shout for evening out kegals with reverse kegals. So 50/50.

          I do a maximum of 100 each. I find it's really given me a way to force blood into my shaft. I start erect, I reverse kegal for a few seconds them squeeze a regular kegal. This feels like a pumping action and fills my dick up. This is a fun thing to do during blow jobs. Mrs inches face when I suddenly fill her mouth with meat is priceless.

          Maybe if you're an avid porn fan, reduce your porn intake. It's a diminishing returns thing. At first it's great, then you desensitise to it, then you need more, then it stops working properly, then for some has long term detrimental effects on their sex lives and EQ.

          So in a nut shell you need to build your dick up more. I've just finished watching a series of YouTube videos by a guy called janus bifrons. His first video on the angion method is really interesting and is something I'm considering for the future to further my gains, cement my gains and ensure a good EQ. Definitely take a look, it was specifically designed for erectile issues.

          Lastly, I repeat, reach out to big Al. He'll give you a tonne of extra advice and a whole wealth of experience that is in far excess of what I can give you.

          With anything you decide on in the end, consistancy and patience is the key.

            On the supplements and general training issue.

            Watch you don't over do it! All that useful blood going to your muscles. Also cardio impacts your blood flow in the short term. It definitely takes it away from your dick. Plus over training creates imbalances in hormone and other chemical issues.

            Supplements are useful in the gym, no doubt. But don't take anything with stimulants in them, like pre workouts.

            Stimulants mostly mimic adrenaline. Adrenaline is a stress hormone and an astringent. It constricts blood vessels and blood supply and makes the heart beat faster. Ready to fight. Don't know if you've ever freaked out or had a fight to find your penis is shriveled when you try to piss. You end up with a dribble shakey piss.

                Pre- workouts are great if you have something who is reputable like Muscle Tech , etc.

                I can only manage 5-6 hrs tops of sleep & pre-work out gets me going. Of course I balance my diet with other great supplements.

                  I usually just work the tip softly and clear my mind. Definetly helps if your mind is clear. Stop masturbating for a bit. Or read some erotic stories while jelqing. I find because it's a story I don't go to 100% EQ like when I watch porn.

                    If you masturbate often you might consider backing off of that. For myself, I view my jelqing sessions almost as a sexual exercise. I do mine in front of a mirror and I really enjoy the pleasure jelqing gives me. If I'm not at least a little bit horny the sessions wouldn't go nearly as well.

                      Well I don't really do any other exercises right now. I tried JP90 for a couple weeks, but to be honest I was having the same problem. Plus the stretching before jelqing made the jelqing even worse, probably couldn't even get to 10% erection level after the stretching. That's why I just wanted to try jelqing first alone, but I can't get hard enough for it.

                      Let me repeat a few things though. I don't watch porn anymore for a while, so that's not the problem. I just really think I need to strengthen EQ. I also want to grow at the same time, but if EQ needs to get improved first. I want to do whatever it takes. I've been kegeling, but I haven't felt any improvement in EQ.

                          I had a similar problem and found not masturbating to porn but doing 20 30 minutes of edging helped a lot with my EQ. Also maybe load up on a few grams of l-arginine a day?

                          I've had to stop lifting weights due to a back injury and now just focus on core workouts (almost pilates like) which activates your pelvic floor as well as some other small muscles around your core. It's so hard not lifting weights it sucks I miss it but can feel my core and pelvic floor getting stronger which could lead to more blood flow to that area.

                          Just some ideas man good luck!
