    Hey everyone and thanks for reading,


    I’m new to the website and I am going to be starting a PE routine soon but I had a few questions.

    My first concern is I have been masturbating to porn pretty frequently and now I am to the point where I can only get an erection at climax. Is this an issue? Should I stop masturbating for a while before beginning a routine, stop masturbating and start the routine now, etc…? Should I avoid edging? I believe it is because of this that I also struggle at doing kegels. I can stop my urine when I pee but I do not feel kegels at all when I try doing them any other time no matter what direction I stretch in.


    When doing jelqing, what should I do when the skin bundles up as I do the exercise? This makes it very hard to actually do a jelq. Also, I own an X4 labs extender. Should I use it in conjunction with the PE routine as a beginner or wait?

    Welcome to the Gym

    It would be a good idea to click on the Start Here button at the top left of the page. Lots of good information on what the Gym is all about, including best practices and safety tips.

    It is always recommended to start with a beginners routine (doesn't have to be the JP) and continue with it for 90 days or until you stop gaining. Start slowly and build up to the full routine over a few weeks.

    Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft. If your skin bunches up, try one handed jelqing - once your hand reaches your glans, release and quickly regrab at the base and move up the shaft again. When stretching, grab your shaft about one inch below the glans and do not pull too hard, just enough to to feel a slight stretch. Let your PIs be your guide as to how hard to pursue your routine.

    It is best to go easy with devices until you have properly conditioned your dick for 90 days.


    Don’t forget to take good starting measurements and photos so you have a solid base to compare your gains to.

      Should I stop masturbating when doing the routine, since I have difficulty getting an erection? In my case, is edging something I should do?

          You should definitely quit porn for your situation. But I would also make look at a stamina routine if you can only get an erection at climax.

            You could try quitting porn. The thing you've explained, to me sounds like a 'PIED' (or Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction), it's a kind of ED that some men develop by numbing their brains with heavy porn use. I've been on the NoFap for a long time and nowadays I can get strong erections.

            You could consider between NoPorn and NoFap. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. With NoPorn, you're still allowed to edge and that can help with PE gains. NoPorn may also sound easier, since you're only quitting porn. NoFap is much more extreme way to try to "rewire" your brain. It means no more porn and no more masturbating. So no edging. NoFap makes your self control very strong, but it's also more demanding. Mixing NoFap and PE isn't for everyone.

            When you jelq, remember to use good amount of lube. That made a night and day difference for me. Good solid squirts of lube on both hands and your member. As little friction as possible, you want your fingers to slide​.
            Started my journey last year and got some gains. Then I quit due to lack of motivation and time. Now I'm back more dedicated and with a little bit different approach!
            First goal: gaining back the results I got last year! And going beyond!

              Don't have to cut it out completely but limit it. The biggest thing with chronic fapping is you lose lots of nutrients when you cum. You need to replace those in your body.

                    Like others have said, I would definitely advise quitting porn, or at least downgrading it to less stimulating porn like still images instead of films. And I'd really recommend edging without cumming as much as you can, go several days just edging if you can. And you'll find your loads, and self control, will increase, and your dick will get harder.

                      Quit porn dude and use your imagination, it is hard and easy to relapse but is the best thing I've done for my EQ

                        Wow, a good amount of feedback. Thanks everyone I appreciate it. I guess I'll start by cutting porn, trying the JP90 routine, and I'll see if I can do edging. I'll try to edge and see if I can get an erection or if I need to wait.
