I have heard this before a few times on other forums but it usually turns out their measurements are non bone pressed and they usually have big girth like yourself. BP they end up being 8+. I have asked gay/ bi guys point blank on forums how frequently they come across guys in the 7+ category. The majority of the time they say its not uncommon at all.

As someone that 6" BPEL 4.75" M, I have only been told I have a large cock and zero complaints across 30+ ladies. It also makes me wonder how big the guys that were with my wife were, she never had bigger and she is hot (was an actual run way model) I of course disagree with me being big, but 7" is "large" and in the 95th percentile for sure.
