  • Acceptable/Recommended Rest Period Activities

    Okay, guys. I'm about 10 days (2.5 micro-cycles) from my first scheduled rest period. I'll be roughly 80 days into my PE journey, and I plan to take about a week off to assess and plan for the next 90 days. Thanks a ton to you guys for your guidance and encouragement so far!

    To date, I have gained .75" in BPEL and .25" in girth. These gains are honestly more than I expected at this point, so I'm super excited about the coming year.

    My question is about my upcoming rest period. Should I just take a total touchy-touchy fast? I assume sex is on the table, if the opportunity arises? Maybe ballooning? Again, maybe nothing?

    My week off was great for my penile health and mental well being. I think sex and soloing within reason are on the table. I correlate this from my experience with strength training, on a quarterly rest week I'm not going to avoid lifting heavy things for yard work or hiking a mountain or whatever. I would caveat the soloing with don't squeeze or kegel or whatever if you're going to masturbate, just have an enjoyable session without any stress on your penis.

    As you know, the biggest thing I got out of my rest week after 90 days of PE was mental confidence that I can pop a college year's quality hard on still. That was the biggest mental detriment to me of PE is that it has decreased my EQ while actively doing PE. This is contrary to popular belief that your EQ improves when doing PE which was burdensome. I get through it by reminding myself that when I'm strength training, on a good arms day post workout it's going to be really hard to lift the normal heavy things around the house. I think the same holds true for good PE workouts.

      Makes total sense. It's like after a long trail run (especially one with elevation), my legs feel like jello. But after a couple days off ... the trail isn't so difficult.

        I would just rest totally. Give yourself a mental and physical break. If you must, you can do a few tugs here and there when you take a piss. Go and enjoys some other things and get you mind refreshed as well. You'll come back going stronger than ever.

            Madyogi , if you dont mind me asking what do you think gave you .25 girth increase so early?

            Im near 8 bpl , but stuck at 4.9-5.1 girth . Not a fan of pumping or exotic manuals . Any advice would be nice .

            I really like 70-80% jelqing , but my veins are kinda big and have gotten in the way causing some discomfort or concern.

              Hhmmm, this is a good question. Maybe just early response? I haven't seen much gain in girth since the initial bump after my first month. Someone else (maybe Solidlength?) suggested it might have come from a boost in EQ, but I've always had great EQ (unless late on a beer binge night), and I haven't noticed a big improvement since starting PE. I can say I tend to jelq more slowly and with a lower erection level, but I do vary it up. I usually have some classy/sensual porn going, mostly girl/girl or girl masturbating. I do wet jelqs that last 3-4 seconds. I will allow erection level to approach 70% but I'll pause or stop the porn or simply walk away if I get much more aroused than that. I have been doing ULI after jelqing, as well as erect squeezes during edging sessions, which are more girth-targeted.

              As far as veins causing discomfort, this is really a finesse thing. I've found it's quite challenging to find just the right timing and pressure for jelqs, but it is doable if you're patient and pay close attention to the feedback from your unit.

                Informal stamina exercises 2-3 times a week, or (of course) live, vigorous sexual activity are recommended during breaks- provided one isn't so overtrained they need full rest.
