    Here’s something you probably haven’t heard of yet. My situation is a unique one. For years my EQ has been absolute ****. I never get random erections, I have to manually stimulate to get hard, I lose it without touching it, I can’t remember the last time I had morning wood that didn’t disappear immediately, etc. etc. I’m not here to complain.

    All I want to do is increase my EQ. I don’t care about size. I’ll take it if it comes, but all I truly want are better erections.

    Here is the interesting part. Because of my personal beliefs, I do not masturbate. I do not edge. These are out of the question for me. I do not think it is bad and I do not judge those that do, I just choose not to. I do have sex when I’m in a relationship, but I have been single for about six months now.

    Since I practice long periods of abstinence with no sexual activity, I feel my penis is “out of shape,” so to speak and I’m wondering if jelqing and these other exercises might bring my sexual fitness back into top form.

    Do any experts here have any tips on how I can bring my EQ up without edging? I do believe edging helps EQ, but I don’t want to do it. I have been jelqing as of recently, and I think I am seeing improvements, but I’m not totally sure.

    I will report back with progress if and when I see it, and I will be happy to answer any questions. Any advice is truly appreciated.

    So not edgeing/masturbating may well have caused the issue .

      What is it in your beliefs that say you shouldn't masturbate but it's cool to have sex outside of marriage? Genuinely interested.

          You bring up some very interesting issues and they very well may be related.

          1. Christianity does not teach "no masturbation".

          The fact you mentioned you have sex in relationships but won't ejaculate makes me wonder why.

          2. Abstinence is not natural, prostate cancer, and enlarged prostate, prostate pain, etc are all direct results of not ejaculating. I should know, I did no-ejac for 6 months and suffered from many problems.

          The human body was made to ejaculate often. As far as EQ/morning wood.

          The is a HUGE list of good things here to try. Get your nutrition right, citrulline, olive oil, testicle massage, etc.

            I do believe that sex is for marriage, however I am not perfect, and am not always able to adhere to those standards. It’s difficult enough trying not to masturbate. If I could find a woman who wanted to wait until marriage, I absolutely would, but I would still want to be able to please her when the time came. Sex would be a very important part of our life, and I would want to have a high EQ.

              I guess I would have to stimulate myself to some degree of erection. I am okay with trying this. Usually when I begin jelqing I find myself becoming erect anyways, so it would be more of an exercise than masturbation.

              So jelq with a higher erection and lots of kegels? I will be adding this to my routine. Thanks!

                Maybe. But this happened before I began experimenting with abstinence. The ironic thing is I know that edging helps EQ, but it goes against my beliefs. I also find that when I edge without ejaculation, my prostate feels congested. It’s uncomfortable.

                I know a lot of people here probably feel that the religious, nofap, semen retention communities are crazy for not masturbating, but I truly feel that there is something to it.

                    Im 31. I’ve had this problem since I was 18 when I started jelqing. Lowkey I think jelqing caused my issues, because it happened right after Jelqing for a bit. I was hoping that jelqing might bring my erections back to full strength.

                    I have seen a urologist recently and told him about everything. Got my test levels checked and they were fine. He didn’t really seem to care at all about my situation and prescribed me some viagra and just brushed me off. Discouraging to say the least, but oh well.

                    I jelqed today and I think I may have gone too hard because I noticed some red spots on my glans and I wasn’t really able to hold an erection. I tried edging for a while after that and was able to stay hard while stimulating, but it was a struggle. My dick felt spongy.

                    What should I do? I’m thinking of doing only edging from now on even though I’d rather not. If it will help my sexual health, I guess it’s worth it. Maybe jelqing isn’t for me.

                      If i was you , id do ballooning.... basically find the feel good spots and focus on the feeling for arousal. ( no stroking , or very little)

                      As far as jelqing to hard , you have to take things slow and easy . It literally took me 4 months to get a good technique down . Too much is a hindrance to your goals .... kinda a less is more thing. Good luck

                          So ballooning is basically edging with minimal stimulation? Like just keeping your dick as hard as it can be for a while without getting too aroused?

                            He never gave me the numbers. Our appt. to discuss the results was over facetime because of lockdown. He said they were normal and that my testicles and my brain were communicating with each other. TRT or anything like that was not needed. Apparently I do not have low testosterone, which I didn’t think I did. I put on muscle pretty easily and grow facial hair etc.

                              You need to get the numbers.
                              "normal can be from 290-900ish. At 280 you would likely have bad ED. Do yourself a favor, see if there is an online portal or someway to get the exact numbers.
