  • How is my newbie routine and is this normal?

    Hi guys,

I posted this in the beginner forum, but I wanted some advice here too. Hope this is okay.

I started a PE program on April 30, 2010. I have been reading posts but didn't join until today. So far my routine looks like this:

I do 1 day on and 1 day off. I never PE two days in a row. I start off by doing downward stretching: Straight down, down to the left, and down to the right. I do that for 3 minutes.

Then I do some tunica stretching by doing a straight up stretch, a v-stretch, a straight-up bundled stretch, and a bundled v-stretch. This lasts about 4 minutes. Next I do about 250-400 jelqs (usually more like 300).

I end by doing about 400 one second kegel/bc flexes. I pull on the top a little while I flex and usually feel for the flex. I feel like I am pretty worked after this, so thats why I always take the next day off.

My question is, how is this for a newbie routine? I wouldn't mind being a lifer with this routine because I'd rather stick to lig stretching, tunica stretching, jelqing, and kegels. I don't think I am into any hanging, clamping or devices. Is this a program I can keep with and continue to gain with? I know it all takes time.

    My next question:

On April 30, 2010 I measured the following:

    BPF - 4.5 x 3.5
    BPE - 6 x 4.5

Today (May 19, 2010) I measured the following:

    BPF - 4.75 x 4
    BPE - 6 x 4.75

I am thrilled at the gains, but is it normal to see bigger flaccid gains than erect? Why would I have a 1/2 inch flaccid girth gain but only .25 erect girth gain? And why would I have flaccid length gain but not erect length gain? Am I doing something wrong? And are these quick results pretty typical or did I experience these fast?

Finally, I noticed the dorsal vein on top of my penis is visible now when I have an erection, whereas it was never visible to me before. I definitely feel like my penis is healthier and fuller. I'm not sure if its mind over matter or what.

One more question, I have read that after losing about 30 lbs there is about an inch of visible/functional gain but not actual gain. Any truth to this? I ask because I am dieting right now and on a pretty strict cardio schedule to cut down for a martial arts tourny. Will this give me false readings if I lose about 30 lbs?

    Thanks for any help/feedback.

I wouldn't call them false readings. It's just that more of the base of your penis will be exposed. With more cock exposed, more will be visible and your readings will be longer. I don't consider that a "false" reading. Many people experience an increase in flaccid length before BPEL. This is quite normal, and a good sign of future growth in erect length.

Yeah man 411 is totally right, flacid gains precede erect gains. I'm on a cardio binge too right now in order to lose the fat I have at the base of my penis. (actually training for a race but penis gains are cool too)

        Thanks going411by7,

I noticed that you have some really impressive growth. I also noticed you've been at this since 2003. Are your gains the result of constant work since 2003 or did you ever take a long term break??

          d00mraptor,

it might be in my head, but I feel like cardio is really helping my PE too. I feel like my whole body is getting more blood flow...do you agree?

I would agree but I haven't been doing pe for very long, so I'm not so in tune w my penis/pis yet. Also I have nothing to compare since I have been running way longer than pe. However, cardiovascular exercise is is the best! Lol I wouldnt be surprised if it were true.

Don't you think 250 - 400 jelqs will be too much for a beginner ? This is my 11th month pe'ing and i'm only doing 250 wet Jelqs.

                Hi going411by7,
Since you've been doing pe since 2003 how many decon breaks have you taken and how long were they?Did you get any gains while taking your decon breaks? How long into pe would you suggest a pe'er to take decon breaks?

It looks here like jelqing (once again) has produced a half inch girth gain, as it did for me in only 3-4 weeks from beginning my beginners program.

                  Jelqing is just freakin' AWESOME!!!

Blackirish, cardio is fantastic in combination with PE, because it does help your circulation immensely. The fact that you're feeling the soreness/tiredness from your routine and taking the day off (1 on 1 off) is fantastic and tells me that you are becoming in tune with your penis which is never a bad thing.
For you since you are a beginner I would say add in a 5 minute warm-up and start edging as your warm-down because this will help you with your gains even more. If you ever feel as if you don't have it in you to do a routine then take the day off, it doesn't hurt if you feel you are tired/sore, and remember that in certain cases less is more.
                    Congratulations on your initial gains!

No I don't actually. I was starting out at 300+ when I was a beginner and doing minute long stretches as well as Uli's in my first month of PE. I just happen to be equipped with an iron penis that can withstand a lot of work, and I know there are others out there who are more or less in the same boat as me when they start PE.
Just remember everyone is different and even though you do one thing and works for you, others it won't work for, and even others can do more then you when they are just starting out.

                    Jelqing is the awesomeness win.

Thanks for all the advice and good feedback, I really appreciate it.

millia, I definitely feel like I am becoming more in tune with my penis. Right now my EQ is great and I feel like I'm 14 again because I am getting hard at random times and in the morning lol.

calixto, jelqing is awesome. I read a few articles that said jelqing isn't the be all and end all of PE. I know I haven't been PEing long enough to say for sure...but I feel like jelqing rounds off my PE workout. I think it will always be a staple of what I do.
