  • Will two weeks off reverse my gains?

    Hi all,

    Noob and first post...

I have tried PE on an off over the years with no real results (jelquing, hanging), but this time really decided to give it a proper crack. 6 weeks in and for the first time ever I can see noticeable (but small) erect length and erect girth gains, but quite a noticeable gain in flaccid hang. I haven't measured any results, was going to wait for the 3 months before measuring.

I got a vasectomy yesterday, and didn't realise the incision is right at the base of penis, right at the starting point of a jelq. I thought the incision would be midway up the scrotum. So this means most likely 2 weeks off while the 5mm open incision heals completely shut. I'm a bit bummed now, as I'm thinking that all the hard work will be lost.

Will two weeks put be back to square one, or will I gain them back quicker when I start again?

Heal, the gains will not go away. Look at it as a deconditioning. You will gain what you lose back quickly
    12/6/19
    NBPEL: 6.25"
    BPEL: TBD
    MEG: 4.6"

    6/6/20
NBPEL: 6.5-6.75" (fluctuates depending on EQ)
    BPEL: TBD
    MEG: 4.9"

Short Term Goal: 7" NBPEL, 5.25" EG
Long Term Goal: 8" NBPEL, 6" EG

Big Al suggests a break at 6 weeks anyway.

The term "deconditioning" gets thrown around a lot, but I think it is a misnomer. You are not deconditioning, you are healing. Breaks are good for growth.

I know nothing of the healing process for a vasectomy, but I read that no sex or ejaculation is recommended. However, having an erection will do no harm. So if you want to cement your gains, get a few erections during the healing time.

If there is any 'loss', I suspect you will be able to recover them, after, you recover from your snippings.

          Be well, stay positive !

Extra long breaks of 2+ weeks a couple of times a year is a good idea for deep recovery.

No ejaculation for 48 days. No sex until 5 days has passed. Erections OK.

Good advice though, will just get a decent chubby in alone time.

Just to be clear, the break refers to time off from training- and not from ejaculation.

Been there, done that - Don't worry about the break, just let it recover for the two weeks. Ejaculation was oddly painful for about 3 weeks after for me, with blood even up to that time. Let me know if you have any questions.

                      And...well done!

I'd also want to add this regarding ball stretching with weights, for any future reference. It took about 4 months before using steel ball stretchers comfortably. YMMV
