    I apologize if this has been covered before, but I have often wondered why guys who manually stretch, are usually doing so for 20-30 min. a day. While the recommended time for hangers, is 10hrs. a week minimum, 2hrs. a day, 5 (or even more) days per week. Is 20-30 min. a day, stretching, as effective as 2hrs. a day hanging? Probably a tough question to answer, but, has anyone tried both and found one more effective than the other?

    Iv never actually saw it like that.
    But now that you put it that way manual stretching for 20-30mins doesn't seem like enough time at all,
    or maybe hanging for 2 hours is just to much.
    But i guess in the end it all comes down to how stubborn your unit is and how much time you are willing to put into it.

    I feel like there is more you can do with manual stretches. Bundled and all the different directions while hanging would be far harder to do anything other than... well, basically straight down or up (pully).

    Hanging is quite extreme and if you hang BTC (behind the cheeks), then this will really target your base ligs and pull out your inner penis (the amount of penis that actually hides inside the body).

    I think manual stretching is very good at stretching out the ligs in the penis itself, however I do think that there will come a stage when these gains slow considerably. Therefore in order to get further gains, hanging will target (more extremely) the parts of the penis internally and "pull them out" to be viewed externally. This essentially means length gains!

    If you are new to PE, I would recommend stretching and jelqing to start with. This will stretch out your current visible penis and also condition it. You'll certainly get size benefits and increases from this. If time allows, when you start to feel that the gains are slowing, you can either adjust your manual exercising to incorporate more intensive advanced exercises, or you could hang. If you hang, I would recommend that you do not do any girth related exercises as this can make hanging gains harder to achieve.

    Hanging can bring huge increases, but it takes serious dedication and a lot of time. You need to make sure that you're doing it right (wrapping correctly, conditioning the skin, etc), but it is worthwhile. I would suggest that if you're really interested in it, you drop me a PM and I'm happy to help out. But first and foremost, you should condition yourself and go at it with the manual exercises. If you don't manual exercise first and hang instead, you might find it harder to gain from manual exercises in the future when you stop hanging.

    Dugger, start manually first and then get into hanging. Like ReetB said, feel free to shoot me a PM as well if you want to get into hanging. I hang for 20 minutes per day about 4-5 days a week and still gained modestly. So it varies from person to person.

    Well, the stretching part from JP's 90 Days Routine doesn't take longer than 5 minutes. And is still supposed to be effective

    the stretching part from JPs 90 day routine doesn't take more than 5 minutes?

    And in response to the initial question in the thread: I think hanging is a less intense stretch than a manual stretch. That is, it more resembles an ADS device than the intense, short burst, stretch that a manual stretch will give you. I suppose it is sort of a median between and ADS device and a manual stretch. So, yeah, I think it makes sense to hang about 2 hours per day (though I have never done any hanging myself). It is my personal opinion that one should wait until he no longer gains from manual stretching before going to hanging.
