Elastic deformation is temporary unless it's kept for a long enough time to reach plastic deformation.
That's why you can gain by doing very intense exercise for a short time and also by rather easy going exercise daily.
Like extending all day vs. heavy duty hanging for 20 minutes. It's different the way ofc

I don t agree with that simply because there is the protective stiff mech of the dick that will not allow for this MORE stretched out state to happen in order to become permanent as you say as you do it for a long time.
Working UNDER the protective mech ( not triggeruing it) is the only thing that can create gains.

The whole tissue is stretched forever. I didn't just gain flexibility. This is permanent no matter what I do. Which means it`s plastic deformation.
-Elastic range
-Plastic range
-Breaking point.
In that order when you apply a stretch for certain time to materials, especially soft tissue.
Even Iron! Heat, as you said, can help, also to prolong the elastic and plastic deformation stage.
If you pump in ice water you can reach plastic deformation stage(AND breaking point!) faster. With heat you can stretch further more easy making harder to reach breaking point but also harder to get plastic deformation if not done often enough(before elasticity "snapped back" fully)
Many people never gain cause all they do is playing around in the elastic range due to low intensity or/and too low frequency.
It's easy to skip the plastic deformation range with a lot of tissue. Then you possibly get the whole "protective mechanism".
You just did too much at once or too often.
It's also possible small parts of the tissue are torn and the rest is reacting. We never expand all parts the same. Some give away earlier.
Nontheless you are right with your observations. But your conclusion that plastic deformation is not possible makes no sense to me.
The indicators you give for gaining are what I experienced too. Fat flushed penis, warm, also a certain "electricity" inside, spontaneous erections.. never turtled never hard flaccid or any coldness.

So stretching without a warm up can require less tension to hit the plastic deformation range? But that range is also shorter so you can push into the breaking point and suffer injury or severe enough damage that the body rebuilds it thicker or with cross-linking to strengthen in tissue?
So when starting out you want low tension to see where your 'plastic range' is. If you go too hard you will cause excessive damage and the body corresponds by thickening or toughening(cross linking?) make any future progress even more difficult?

Very interesing post and with great detailed explanation.And I agree to all.
I have to say that I had misunderstood the definition of "plastic deformation".
Now that you explained what it is(in your previous post) I know it exist on the penis enlargement.
In my definition was a stretched out state ... which from what you explaind its the same as the plastic deformation.

I gained nothing with jelqing like I am milking an egg. I gained solid 0.4" of girth after I ditched the low intensity exercises and switched to advanced ones.
