When I read through threads it seems like some guys gain girth easy and not length and vice versa. For the time being, I myself think I am gaining girth pretty easy..but I can see length being a problem in the long run.
Is there any reason for this? Or do we just chalk it up to genetics? I didn't know if there was a theory on the board about why.

I gained both length and girth but i only know of my length increase not my girth because i haven't measured my girth yet ....

Yes, what Pirate said. It has to do with how you're performing the exercises, genetics, body's reaction and many other things.

I agree with Pirate and NP97. What I have noticed is that girth seems easier to increase than length. That is just based on my own experience as of late, and my observation of several fellow p.e.ers. There does seem to be a tendency, again based on my own observations, that big girth leads to bigger girth. As far as long dicks leading to longer dicks, I'm just not sure. A good case in point is the penis pump. (We discussed this earlier). The manufacturer of my VacuTech promotes filling the tube girth-wise, but not so much length- wise. I want both!! Why not? Well, to respond to my own question, the Mrs. does not complain one bit about the length of my penis, and she sure as hell enjoys the girth. The vast majority of women do want to be filled up, but they don't want it butting against that back wall. That is fuckin' painful.
But....after using my penis pump for a few weeks, (and this may be premature), I already notice girth increases, (and these are mostly flaccid girth increases), but not length increases. Again, this may be based on my tendency to gain girth easier than length. And there is also such a thing as a limiting factor--that "bone," again it's not really a bone per se, that runs the length of your dick. Mine's like a steel cable after all these years of p.e.
I should have a better take on the VacuTech after I have used it for a few months. But, good Irish person, so much of p.e. has to do with how seriously you take it, how consistent you are, which exercises you choose, which devices you choose, and, of course, your natural tendency (your genes). This is what the other mods are telling you.
Bottom line: It's about trial and error. I lucked out from the start. I fell into a good routine that worked great for me, and I did it all manually!!I guess the luck of the Irish (I'm half Irish), was on my side.

I agree with all of the above, minus being an easy girth gainer. I wish I could gain the girth as easily as I gained the length because I don't want a third arm like going411by7 but hot damn I do want that girth.
It's not just Penile Enhancement, it's a way of life.

I'm trying to grow an aerosol can hah, so the girth is fine with me. Truthfully, so far I think I am lucky to see consistent gains in girth and length every time I measure. They are just always more in the girth department. I was just curious as to why.
I am going to stick to a fairly newbie routine until I feel more conditioned...but reading through the exercises and some logs...I think when its time to add more stretches I definitely will.
I actually feel pretty conditioned and probably able to add some more length exercises...but I'm not going to push it. I'd rather small consistent gains in length than none at all because hurt myself. Maybe my girth will eventually catch up to my length.
