  • stretching in hot tub

This is my first post here, so please be kind. It seems there's a lot of talk about the importance of warmup and it's ability to both hasten the lengthening process and seal in gains seen during a PE session.

Having said that, would it be of any benefit to perform all stretching in a hot tub? Not only do you get warmed up, but everything remains warm the whole way through. Thoughts? Has anyone tried it? Does is make getting a good grip trickier?

    Thanks,

Hey LH. Stretching in warm water (e.g. hottub) is great. I do it just before putting on bathmate. Yeah, occasionally you'll lose your grip, but most of the time you'll be fine. Keep the soap and oil out of the bathtub, or forget it. I guess you wouldn't have that problem in a hottub though.

Some vets say they have had their best stretch this way.

This looks like one more great reason to buy a Hot Tub. (Tell your wife you need it for PE!)
