In the forum Gym, Blink2000 start a thread about a guy he knows who has 9 inches. But the interesting thing is redbear52 posted a site called Stripper web where women start that between 6-7 inches will suffice for them. Now to me this is different than reading a MAN'S PE website discussing women wanted a bigger dick that we can't verify, but these 700 votes have no reason to lie becuase the forum is all about them. So I ask , WHAT THE HELL ARE WE THINKING. Are we all in a dick swinging contest amongst ourselves as men? I agree with Kingpole. Based on my experience, if you are larger than 7" x 5.5" you are likely to start running into problems with being undesirably or uncomfortably large for an increasingly significant percentage of women.

I'm currently a little bigger, and trying to become bigger still, but I am married and my wife has a big box.

Well, it's pretty easy when you are married and in a great relationship. You basically just follow the wife's lead. I am around 7 x 5.75 now and aiming for 8x6 or slightly past 8. I told the wife I want the length so we can have more fun in different positions and she had zero objections. She's loving the bigger one (I know her better than myself) and I can tell she wants even more. So I'll just keep plugging away until she says "ok you can stop now". I suppose if she said that already it would be slightly disappointing but I want her to be comfortable so I'm letting her call the shots. I'm kinda coming round to the op's view on this. After a month of PE i'm pretty much dead on 7x5.5 (6 base) and I keep reading this is a very ideal size for most women... it's not a monster but it's not a teeny weeny either. i just always thought I was average.

When I hold my goal object (8.5x6.2 deoderant can) near my penis it just looks huge. No doubt it would look impressive, but would i really be able to ram it in my missus? doubtful.

Good question.

It's well known that as men, we're comptetive by nature. I see a lot of guys here talking about how they measure up to previous guys their girlfriends have been with, it's a blow to the ego to find out you're not the biggest and that translates into our minds as not being the best.

As we get older and discover that's not really the case, and sex is more than what you have below the belt, in the back of the mind the thought is still there.

Also we hear girls (exaggerrating to some extent) talk about these large penises they've had. Usually when a large penis is being discussed, it's in a positive manner and you pick up on that. Therefore, in your mind: big penis=good.

For a lot of men their penis causes a lot of anxiety and insecurity. I think for the most part, we'd all just like to actually be happy with our penisis.

I told my wife since I'm going to all this trouble that I want to reach 8" at least (so far she's very happy with my growth by the way--and by 'happy' I do mean better orgasms...). I told her I like the idea of 8" because it will allow a more positions. I was already just a bit under 7" in the past & that wasn't a problem at all... so she hasn't complained about my goal. I did show her a toilet paper roll (one that was about 6" thick) and I told her I wanted to be that thick... her eyes popped out (I could see the fear!)

My immediate goal is just to reach 7" of length (I'm currently 6.6" BPEL). Long term I think 8"x6" would be nice, but I'll take it month by month & see how the wife is reacting. I'll also have to determine whether I am a hard gainer. So far it seems unlikely, but who knows.
