I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right section, so mods can fix it if it's not!
I have been researching PE for a while now (mostly on this site) and I know pretty much what a beginner should know. I started a routine approximately a month ago and my BPEL was a mere 5 inches. After doing my stretches for as long as I have, my length has increased to roughly 5 1/8 inches. I know this is a small gain, so try not to pick on me but this really did excite me! Now I have a few questions to put a decent routine together so I can get my first 1 inch gain. The only stretch I have been doing goes a bit like this:
Extend directly out (5 sec)
Extend to the right (5 sec)
Extend to the left (5 sec)
Extend downwards (5 sec)
Extend completely upwards (5 sec)
(This is all about 15 extensions that I do a hot/warm shower every morning)
I also take a day off when my penis needs rest. I've read the beginner routines but I want your guys' opinions; what should I add to my routine to get more length? I would also like to focus more on girth as well.
P.S. My penis seems to be slightly flat on the top when erect, is this normal? If not, what does it mean and how can I improve this? It makes my girth look worse than it really is. Thank you for help guys

Unless I misunderstood you, you're not doing jelqs or a warm-up that I can see. I also didn't see a mention of kegels.
Just follow a standard beginner routine exactly for a few months. Then once you have more experience, you can try new things & contrast your routine vs what you gained with a standard routine. In other words, I don't think new guys should try & drastically change a beginner routine without giving it a try. Guys with a lot of PE knowledge & experience have put a lot of thought into the beginner routines. Coming into PE with no experience, you can't expect to make up something 'better' on your own, right out of the gate.

Once you've tried a beginner routine for a few months, it should set a good baseline for you (hopefully) in terms of what good PI's are. In other words, it will hopefully help you see how things look, & feel, etc. when you're making good progress.

Five second stretches isn't going to do anything. The only thing five seconds is good for is jelqing. Increase each stretch to at least 30 seconds, and if that works, add more seconds. Another good stretch is to pull firmly and then keeping tension on your unit, do complete circles with it keeping your unit close to your body the entire time. I would go 30 seconds in one direction, then 30 in the opposite.
