The area where my legs meet my groin (the fold) and the underside of my balls have been itching a lot in the past few weeks. Sometimes I'm really tempted to scratch them and it takes awhile to stratch them enough for it to feel better. This leaves the itchy areas red and sore.
This is awful! I tried using baby powder on my groin and under my balls, which helped, but it didn't cure me.
I really don't know what's causing this, but I'm completely open to all possible remedies. I use olive oil for jelqing, but I'm not sure if that's the cause. I certainly try not to get olive oil on the underside of my balls.
Somebody help me!

Thanks, dude!
It may or may not be jock itch, I read that jock itch doesn't effect the scrotum. But whatever it is, there's not much of a rash so it's at least in the early stages.
Well whatever it is, I think some of it had to do with the new underwear I bought. They are mostly breifs with 95% cotton and 5% spandex. I am going to have to get rid of those and switch to boxers. Boxers give me the most room and comfort BY FAR!
40% cotton 60% polyester, baby.

Jock itch is a fungal infection, you need to get an anti-fungal cream to treat it. It can grow anywhere, so don't think that your scrotum is immune. Going back to boxers is probably a good idea too! A lot of guys do fine with briefs, but in your case, it sounds wise to get some more air flow in there.....

Gold bond powder helps some, but sometimes you have to get the anti fungal cream. Don't let it too bad or you WILL hate life

omg i remember when i had this. This was yearssss ago. I hated it but at the same time I guess mine was really bad that I actually couldnt wait to scratch because the sensation felt sooo good but when I was done it was really scratched up bad. I just went to the docs got some prescribed cream and it went away within weeks. The hardest part is to not scratch. Good luck!
