I know that you should measure with regular ruler that you use for measuring clothes or what ever. But i tried something. I took papper, measured 20cm with ruler ,then i took plastic straightedge (or how ever you call it in english) and it shows 19.5 cm ?! Wtf!? Not sure what to think. 0.5cm difference.

Cloth measuring is done with a tailor tape, in math class on the other hand we use a ruler. If there is a 0.5cm difference, then one of the two items you have there is seriously defected.
