It's easy to get erect during workout. Especially as a newbie, also when I switched back to stretching I get little erect sometimes which hinders the stretching.
It's more of trouble to get hard during stretching than during stretching.

It's not easy since sometimes our penis is meaty and filled with blood, still soft.

What you should do is to so physical workout before the PE. When doing physical activities the blood is taken from not used parts of the body to the parts who need it.
Since we don't use our penis during physical workout we take the blood out. Doing PE after physical activity is much easier since there is less blood in the penis.
I usually run before my PE. I don't run because of PE..I do it to be healthy. But I do them together to get less erect.
