To me, there is no shame in PE. It's no different than when guys first began to lift weights/bodybuild and it was a fringe thing. Now it's mainstream.

It's my 500th post, so I figured I would use it on one of the threads I started. This one has been thought provoking and informative, for sure!

I don't have a son, but when I do...
Personally, I would introduce him to exercise/weight lifting/dieting first - given that I carry a respectable physique at the time (Which I plan to). I would introduce him to this lifestyle as I wish my father would have at a young age... would have saved me a lot of self esteem issues, and helped me have gotten a lot of girls.
Then, once my son starts getting girls, and respects me and all the hard work I put into muscle building/fat loss - only then would I feel the time is right to introduce him to PE as the "best and last" way to improve your physique.
Its a long time before I have to think about that, but at the last I have some sort of a plan. I never want my kids to have ANY self esteem issues about ANYTHING.
