Thread: How to let your son in on PE
- 12-31-2010 #31
Thanks higherone. However, one son lives an hour away and we only get together 4 or 5 times a year, usually with his wife and 2 kids and the other son lives in Arizona who we only see once a year. Not much time to work up to a PE discussion. Also, I am concerned with the reaction of the wives.

Any ideas for not2big, fellas?
To me, there is no shame in PE. It's no different than when guys first began to lift weights/bodybuild and it was a fringe thing. Now it's mainstream.

I like that approach. Men in their 30's may be starting to feel a little change in their EQ. They may also have kids in the house which tends to create a lot of pragmatic issues around sex. Sounds like an excellent time to have a good humored, manly, talk about practical manly stuff, like penises and PE.

In my experience, women with children have extremely pragmatic attitudes towards sex.

As a 35 year old man, I can tell you that at this age I'd be able to handle something like this from my dad with no problem. I wouldn't worry too much about their wives. Chances are they'll do it stealth at first like most guys do.

I posted this on another thread, but I think it pertains to this discussion. I have found that when you discuss PE as a normal thing, it becomes normal and not as awkward as we tend to think it is. Viagra did this big time in making their product mainstream. Most guys, whether they have size issues or not, can understand why a guy would do PE and will be cool about it. Your son is no different.

I would introduce it like it's normal to do it, but I'd let him know that not too many men do it and that he should keep it to himself like he does with masturbating (if you think about it, chances are he's already started doing that if you're telling him how to grow his dick). A downside of making it seem normal would be if he goes to school and brings it up like, "so when do you guys do penile execising?" Kids are kids, and wouldn't be very open and accepting about something like that. The last thing you want is him to be made fun of for doing it, and then not do it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for being comfortable with doing it, but peer pressure isn't something to ignore.

As many of the guys on here say about starting young, I was introduced to proper physical education at a young age due to my dad being in the forces and him being a fitness fanatic. At the age of 6 i started to race motocross and do martial arts. By 10 I was racing at national level and a little force to be reckoned with around the fight circuit. Not of that stopped me developing, in fact at the puberty stage 12/13 years old I was physically more mature and mentally due to being involved in sports and hanging around with older people from a young age.
Now I just wish that my dad was into PE. I would love to have been exposed to jelqing and stretching around the 14/15 year old stage. It would have been nice to have been told that doing say 10 mins of stretching and 10 mins of jelqing a day would help my penis size. Along with a kegal routine to help your stamina son when you start having sex with girls. To have been brought up with a much more open mentality to sex and my penis would have been great. I have always been comfortable with my size but like most men, we seek that bit more.
I have been lucky to work and travel the world. One thing I find amazing is the lack of teen pregnancy in countries that are more liberal when it comes to sex. The Germans, Dutch, French etc etc are very open to nudity, sex on tv. It is no longer a taboo that intrigues the young mind into wanting to try it out. A bit like having a glass of wine at the dinner table. Most of the europeans will allow children to have a small glass of red from as young as 10 years old. The children no longer have the hang up about alcohol as it's a part of life.
Unfortunately, I live in the UK, which like north America we like to molly coddle our young. I can get married here at 16 and have kids, but I can't drive a car until 17 or get a mortgage until 18. The dutch have legalised Cannabis and have one of the lowest drug dependant countries in the western world, go figure. If you build it, she will cum!
