could i gain 1.5 in length and .75 inches in girth over a few years if i really worked out hard putting aside all the talk about genetics and how well u gain and such, but just based off general knowledge ... thanks! ... do either the length or girth sound realistic ... lets say over 4 years?

Absolutely! Genetics only affect your starting stats. Your determination affects your results with PE.
I believe a 25% increase in length and a 20% increase in girth are VERY reasonable for someone who has done no PE. That is, if you've done PE for years and already had gains, I wouldn't expect another 25% length every year!!
With the exception, of course, of Going411by7.
The gains are very real, however, don't give yourself a deadline: If you "only" gain an inch in 4 years, would you quit?

Oh, I think genetics has a lot to do with one's potential to gain as well as one's starting size. But certainly many have reported gains along those lines after investing that amount of time.
I have gained about 1.5" in length (maybe slightly more) and about .5" in girth (maybe slightly less) over 3 years. Since I seem to be gaining girth more easily than length these days, I think it is quite possible that I could gain another .25" in girth over the next 12 months, or so.
It has required investment of a significant amount of time, however.
