Ok, so we all know the stereotypes, asian men are smaller, white men are avg, and that us black men are well endowed, but thats not true in every case and im living proof of that inaccuracy... Now I heard a few interpretations as to why they give black men this title, most recently, it was our consumption of pork, being someone that never regularly ate pork I decided to implement it into my diet in 2010, didnt find any concrete results....but I just wanted to get everyones take on race and penis size.....

My personal opinion, is that in reality, as far as worldwide average goes, there is very little difference between the 3 main ethnic groups as far as penis size is concerned, granted, studies do show that to have some merit, but its a small correlation. I personally think that it stems from the fact that Africans tend to be showers, while whites are more often than not growers, and I think this has alot to do with each races respective places of origin, Europeans and Africans, both evolved to live in their enviroments, in Europe, it gets cold, and in Africa, its hot and humid depending where you go, it wouldn't make sense, from an evolutionary standpoint for africans to be growers or vice versa for Europeans, this, is where I think the whole bigger medium smaller sterotype comes from, but if I remember correctly, there was a small correlation between race and dick size, but the differences were something like half an inch, but dont qoute me on that. But just remember, there are white guys that are huge, and there are black guys, who fall in the average/small range, and Im sure there are asians that are huge/average, these kind of things you really have to take with a grain of salt.

I also think that porn plays off of these stereotypes. Think about it. Who wants to be the Black guy with a 6" penis in a porn movie? You guys are "supposed" to have monsters. It's insane because white America has somehow branded you with a "good" stereotype that oppresses you through the back door instead of directly. It's not fair and it plain out sucks if you ask me.

Even in these studies there's gotta be some weight to people who only fit the stereotypes showing up. Let's say I have a five inch penis. If I'm an Asian guy, cool I'll go. Why not? If I'm White. Ehh... Well maybe there will be a hot nurse I can show my hard dingaling to. If I'm Black... Shoot, I'm not going. I'm gonna drop my pants and they are gonna expect 8" and I'll just be embarrassed.

I can't put it eloquently or clearly, but hopefully you catch my drift.

My take, for what it's worth, is that the whole thing is a nonsense. If.. and I stress the 'if' ... there's any truth in it, it's marginal, and only on average. Maybe a few people tip the balance, so there are a handful of black guys with monsters, and a handful of white guys with acorns.. I dunno. Most people are somewhere around the average. That's why it's the average. I expect if I was black I'd not be in any hurry to dispel the stereotype that I had a big dick, but in truth I don't really care enough to warrant this detailed a response.

The consumption of pork thing is just daft. You didn't really take that seriously did you? silly boy

I agree with both of you, I have heard the theory that the weather difference between the major races, and I agree that that plays a major role.

There is a book called Race Differences in intelligence which claims that Africans have the biggest genitalia of the major 'races' while East Asians have the smallest genitalia, Caucasians being between the two. That's really the only study I've ever seen on it. I don't remember how proportionate the differences were really. I don't see the point in comparing with other men really (unless you swing that way), it's more important what women want and more importantly what you want.

I'm with NP. This is nonsense. The phrase just rhymes. It's a bit of a laugh. My last ex was with a black guy before me, I think he may have even had a bigger dick, but yet she still stayed with me for 5 years next. Lots of similar phrases exist, yet very few of them are empirically true. Racial stereotypes certainly exist, and it may be that this leads people to want to meet these expectations socially, but a well adjusted human of any race is going to be able to rise above this.

Your impressions of such things are also almost certainly skewed by the ethnic mix of your community too. I'm from the UK, which is reasonably multicultural depending on where you go, but still most people here are white european by a long way. As such most of the people with big dicks, small dicks, brains or outright stupidity in the UK are white.

Well, I'm not a doctor but my brother is. He's performed a couple thousand surgeries by now and he said that during parts of anasthesia the penis will sometimes become erect. By and large he told me that most men (Asians, Black, White and Hispanic) fall into the same range. However, of those that were above average, he found black men to have the edge. Maybe that's why you see no great white hope duking it out with Mandingo's ungodly member. Conversely, of those that were smaller than average, Asian men fell into the small range more often than others.

Being in advertising, I can tell you that my industry's founded on stereotypes based on what is perceived by the audience already. We simply exploit that and build on it to make a poignant message. If it didn't work, we wouldn't do it. All stereotypes started somewhere. If they were myth from the beginning there would never have been a grain of proof to keep it going and it would have died. Having said that, however politically incorrect it may seem, it is what it is.

I've always lived by the mantra that a rumor that doesn't die isn't a rumor. Very rarely are the masses correct. Think of something that you could consider yourself an expert or more educated in than the average person. Now think about how many times you've had to tell the average Joe that what they're saying or believe isn't true. Sometimes it's like arguing with a pig. You only confuse the pig and look more ridiculous for arguing with the pig in the first place.

My question has nothing to do with swinging a certain way, I dont see the relevance of that comment, my questiom was merely asking if anyone knew the causes of the differences in order to implement them into my routine/lifestyle.

trouble is you're contradicting yourself here. I agree that the masses are very rarely correct, but it's the masses that perpetuate stereotypes.

Besides, I'm not about to feel intimidated by a black guy or superior to an asian guy because the average cock size within their demographic might possibly be half an inch bigger or smaller than mine.

We all know what the averages are. If I felt significantly bigger or smaller than that, I'd be thinking about comparisons to *all* other people - not specifically black or asian guys.
