Ive been dipping for the past couple years and finally decided to quit two days ago (and having major withdrawal symptoms) I know cigarettes decrease your EQ and give you ED as well, but does dip do the same? Will I have better erections and have an easier time gaining after these next few weeks of hell?

Chewing tobacco and smoking have the same effect on body metabolism. The biggest difference is the delivery system. With smoking nicotine blood levels rise rapidly due to the inhaling and direct blood absorption, whereas dipping is limited to some absorption though oral membranes and when swallowed through the GI tract.
Nicotine is a powerful vasoconstrictor, decreasing blood flow to the extremities, most notable to the fingers, toes and yes the penis. This systemic effect also increases blood pressure and hypertension has been linked to ED.
In short your quiting dipping will have similar benefits as quiting smoking. Congratulations for your decision to quite and good luck with it.The enemy of good is not badThe enemy of good is better

It could or it could not...rarely does ONLY tobacco cause problems with erections there are usually co factors. You have to examine psychological issues, diet, exercise and hormonal issues.Starting April 2010: NBPEL: 5.25-5.5
BPEL: Approx. 6
EG: 4.4
End of November 2010: NBPEL: 6.5
BPEL: 7
EG: 4.6
Goal: NBPEL: 7
EG: 5-5.5
New Routine: OTS hanging, bundled stretches in between, erect stretches, 100 jelqs at full erection level.

Hy BuffaloSoldier03, Welcome to the gym I think I can shed some light on this.
Back in high school I used to be a smoker(and overweight to top that off). But then I started playing football and decided to quit, becuase I needed my lung capacity for running, so I started dipping. I dipped althrough high school and afterwards aswell, and I can tell you that, as far as EQ goes, cigarettes will defiantly hinder your full EQ potential, and so will dipping. My EQ suffered greatly because of it, grante, IM still overweight so thats not the only factor, but I quit dipping in november and my EQ is doing fantastic. My advice to you is to gut it out, everyone has a certain time period of time where they experince purgatory, but you just need to gut it out, if cold turkey doesn't work I suggest the gum, I used that with cigarettes. Good luck to ya."I came, I saw, I conquered"- Julius Cesear

Retinoid I'm hoping that you did not read into my statement that tobacco use causes ED, although tobacco is know to be a contributer.
I think what BuffaloSoldier is looking for is some positive feedback, that quiting dipping is worth going through withdrawal for.The enemy of good is not badThe enemy of good is better
