Thread: Where to go now?

First some exposition, I started PE towards the end of last year. I finished JP's routine, which I don't believe resulted in any actual growth, but I did get an EQ boost so I was was consistently reaching my limits. I then started on an enhanced version of the routine for about two weeks before I began having hard flaccid issues. I stopped for a couple of weeks before picking up a Bathmate to promote blood flow and give me a shot at making gains. I slowly moved my way up from 5 minutes 2 times a day to my current 10 minutes a day over the course of about the last 3 months.
At this point my hard flaccid remains but is minimal, only showing up occasionally at night for an hour or two. In terms of growth, I will be measuring again in a couple of weeks, but when I measured a few weeks ago I measured a +.25"-.3" increase in girth. I have not been able to reproduce that result. I haven't really been focused on measuring as much as I did during my manual PE days, as I have greatly reduced my masturbation frequency (on account of the hard flaccid) my stamina has suffered and I now struggle to get fully erect for very long without having to take a break, so the last thing on my mind is measuring. I've been doing kegels/reverse kegels, but I'm a young guy and I don't think I have the strongest floor muscles, so those things combined, it's a struggle.
Anyway, seeing as I've reach the 20 minutes usage limit on the Bathmate, I'm wondering where to go from here.
tl;dr I've been using a Bathmate for three months and wish to modify my routine.
Firstly, since I am using the Bathmate twice a day, is it safe to exceed the 20 minute usage limit? Maybe not 20 minutes twice a day, but perhaps 12-15? At this point I'm using it every other day, I was considering using a Vacextender on alternating days and taking a break on weekends. Would be too strenuous? Perhaps if I lightened the Bathmate use? What about Bathmate stretches?
I know ultimately I've got to figure out what is safe for me, but I'm prone to making bad decisions, so any input is appreciated.

1) what are your goals? length, girth, both? Set both a short and long term goal. Its the best way to build a routine.
2) as a Bathmate user, Id say err on the side of caution still even with your current usage. Myself I use mine only on workout days, and as a warmup/warmdown. I occasionally use it for up to 10 minutes in the beginning after my hotwrap and than after my edging for 10-15 minutes before hotwrapping again. I never saw increases using the bathmate alone for the 4-5 weeks i did, but it did help my eq so i kept using it and added a short bt intermediate routine with good results. You can look at my log for the details of it.

I'm just looking for growth. I'd love another inch in girth and length to bring me to the famed 8" x 6", but 1/4" growth in either direction would be encouraging.
Bathmate results seem to vary heavily, a lot of people seem to get nothing from it, and then you hear from those people that claim that using it alone they got .5" in girth in 3-4 months. For me it's just something to use to promote good penile health as I no longer feel comfortable with manual PE. Not sure I'm comfortable using an extender either, I would love to get something out of my PE experience other than an injury, but turning a minor injury into a major one would be a spirit breaker. I could just keep my 1 day on/1 day offf routine but replace the Bathmate with the extender every other exercise. I just know that extender gains come with a lot of hours invested, and I can do that, but I'm not sure if I can expect to see growth 3 times a week.

As long as u err on the slow and steady side with manual pe u cant go wrong. Sometimes we yank so hard thinking we need to pull our members till it reaches our nipples in order for pe to work when as long as u get a decent tension you get the micro tears that lead to gains. Never used an extender and from my reading yes it takes alot of hours, bu tanything worth doing takes a while.
Good luck though because your not too far from your goals it seems.

I think my problem was excessive masturbation combined with PE. One without the other would have likely been fine, together it was a recipe for disaster. As it stands now though, I just can't take the risk, especially while I still have hard flaccid symptoms. I'm not sure whether a long duration stretch is going to be any safer. The Bathmate doesn't seem to cause any problems in that respect, but I'm not sure what is a safe type of exercise and what isn't. I might just stay where I'm at for a couple more weeks and then start slowly introducing Bathmate stretches.

Well I jumped the gun a bit and decided to measure my girth today. Very pleasantly surprised. Before starting PE my BEG was around 5" and MSEG was around 4.5". I forget what I was at after finishing JP's, I think I got my MSEG up a bit, but I think BEG was unchanged. Today I measured BEG at 6" and MSEG at 5", so unless I was measuring really poorly before, the past ~3 1/2 months of using my Bathmate has gotten me 1" of BEG and maybe .2"-.3" MSEG. Still at 6.9"-7" BPEL and while I wouldn't mind an 8" x 6", I really want to get my MSEG to at least 5.5". Is there anything I can do to focus on MSEG? Manual PE still scares me, but if anyone has some good suggestions, I'll consider them.

Well, you can do stamina work. Some gains will come from that. (kegels, edging, ballooning, etc).
Maybe try a VERY light routine. PSEG's is quite light and many have gained from it.
The thing that sucks is.... well, when you think you may hurt yourself it's gonna happen.
Have you thought of doing a pyramid of sorts?
Like starting with five minutes of light jelqing after a hefty warmup... then adding on until you can feel it working (postitive PI's).Starting Size (09/2009): ~7"BPEL x ~5" MSEG
Most Recent Measurement (08/13/2012): 8"BPEL x 5.5"MSEG
Final Goal: When I'm told to stop.

Hard not to think about injuries when you've got to face one quite frequently. My hard flaccid seems to cycle, a week ago it was gone, then it got a progressively worse to the point where I had to battle it throughout the day. Today it just hit me at night and it'll probably be fairly clear by tomorrow, this isn't the first time it's done this. I like to think my problem days are becoming less severe, but perhaps I should just do a very light jelq routine on the days it's cleared up. No ideas on targeting the midshaft? I could probably have gotten a BEG of under 6" if I pulled the ruler tighter, so I can afford to gain some there, but I really don't want to go over 6" there, especially when the rest of my shaft has a fair amount of catching up to do.

If your gunning for girth higher up your shaft, Id suggest squeezes, but place your bottom hand further up the shaft, meaning instead of putting all the wa at the base, move up and inch or two.

Thanks, I'll consider that. Just have to be careful with the pressure and watch my PIs.
