There's no info they're hiding or keeping to themselves. They used a scientific term, when we use the term bone pressed, we're using a non-scientific term that's just easier to understand, explain, and to learn.
Just because not everyone understands what they mean, doesn't mean that it cannot be what is known as bone pressed.

I'm sure the average would be lower... I mean they aren't finding the average of one body type. They want to find the overall average, since skinny dudes can get fat and fat guys can drop weight it only makes sense to measure bone pressed.
They don't say if they are jamming it in there, I'm sure it's a moderate to light press to get the most accurate measurement possible.Starting Size (09/2009): ~7"BPEL x ~5" MSEG
Most Recent Measurement (08/13/2012): 8"BPEL x 5.5"MSEG
Final Goal: When I'm told to stop.

Below is some "non-scientific" information from our friends at Thunder's Place. There are 4,007 participants which is enough to deduce the average penis size. Please note, we could have a misrepresentation of the "target" population (i.e. average penis size in the USA) because our "sample" population is exclusively from a penis enhancement site. My judgment would be that we are talking about an average that is an overestimate rather than an underestimate though. Why: because more well endowed men are willing to participate which skews the average. Evidence: Look at the photo section of the site we choose to frequent. Most of the guys who post photos are either average or well above average. Anyway, here is the site:
Pre PE length - Thunder's Place Free Penis Enlargement Forums
Some interesting information arises after evaluating the data. The average size is 5.75-6.00" and trying to reduce it any more than that is nearly useless in terms of our own length as a concern (just as much as saying the average height of an adult male in the USA is 5'8"--pretty useless). After looking at the data and comparing it to the standard bell curve we see this study at Thunder's nearly mimics the studies of other scientific studies that have been posted in scientific journals. This is what we get:
Average 5.80" in length (a single average is important here to determine the bell curve data points)
Standard deviation 0.80"
Standard bell curve average is considered to be 68% of the population; or 34.1% on each side of the single number average--5.80"
How to determine the end points that determine this 68%: (Abbreviations: AVE = Average; Std = Standard deviation; 1 = One standard deviation or 68% of the population are within one standard deviation; 2 = Two standard deviations or 95% of the population; 3 = Three standard deviations or 99.7% of the population
AVE +/- (Std*1)
5.8" +/- (0.80*1) = 5.0 on the low end and 6.60 on the high end.
Thus, we can say confidently that 68% of the adult male population has a penis size of 5.0" to 6.60" and if you are 6.60" or bigger you are larger than close to 85% of the population (.1 + 2.1 + 13.6 + 34.1 + 34.1 = 84%--standard bell curve up to the high average, or 6.60").
For those who are curious here is two standard deviations:
5.8" +/- (0.80*2) = 4.2" on the low end and 7.4" on the high end.
Thus, 95% of the population falls between 4.2" and 7.4" and if you are 7.4" or above you are larger than about 97.6" of the population (.1 + 2.1 + 13.6 + 34.1 + 34.1 + 13.6 = 97.6%--standard bell curve up to two standard deviations).
Seeing as how I only have access to the data at Thunder's I am using that information along with the potential bias (exclusively from a penile enhancement site) and I personally think if a penis is 7.25" or larger it should be considered very big if not "huge" because there are about 3 people out of every 100 (on average) that will be larger than that. Or you can think of it as being 1 in every 33 people. It doesn't matter how we perceive it really. So long as we are perceiving it correctly. Hell, even a person with a 6.60 incher is bigger than 1 out of every 6 people.
The reason I respond to so many of these posts questioning the average is because it helps me quite a bit. I don't have experience looking at male genitalia other than porn. I have a weak self-perception of my own size and I am constantly reminding myself that I am larger than average. I understand it logically, but I have trouble really understanding that this is reality. Thus, I continue to comment because I find myself understanding the reality of penis size more and more. Scientific data as well as data that we can see at Thunder's with over 4000 participants indicate that the numbers I gave above are a genuine reflection of reality. It will take time for some of us to actually accept the data, but the data are not lying. The numbers are there and we have multiple sources saying a BPEL measurement of 5.75-6.00" is the average size penis for an adult male.Last edited by ByggD; 08-03-2011 at 07:32 PM.

^ is this legit? How did you get 5.8 as the avg for the thunders data? Its more like 6.2.
