  • Kegel Start/Stop, every day exercise?

    Hi, guys!

I was just reading in the Exercises Section, the Kegel Start and Stop, as you well know consist in stopping urine in midflow and then letting go again.

Should I do these exercise everyday, every time I go to the bathroom as the article suggests? I dont want to overtrain my PC.

    Thank you in advance.

I do kegels all day long, most days anyway. Doing them right now while I'm doing internet stuff. I've never heard anyone overtraining by doing kegels. As far as I know there isn't a downside to doing it every day but one of the experts may know better.
    Start - 5" x 4.6"...ish (no clue when I actually started PE)

    4/1/12 - 7.25" BPEL x 5.25" MEG
    11/23/12 - 7.5" BPEL x 5.375 MEG
    11/23/12 - 8.125" BPFSL

    Short Term Goal - 8" x 5.5"
    Long Term Goal - 9.5" x 6.5"

Firstly you stop urine midflow just to get the idea of the muscle control, you do not so that on an ongoing basis. kegels should normally be done away from pissing. Like other muscles you can overtrain, but this isn't usually an issue if you are progressive. I believe in including reverse kegels within the kegel workout and you sometimes see spasm issues where guys are doing heavy kegel workouts with no reverse.
