I have often wondered why flaccid gains made through PE did not translate into erect gains. Specifically I am referring to gains made via Lazy Ass Stretches or bed fowfers. My hypothesis has been that LAS exercises lengthen your upper suspensory ligament and allow some of your inner penis to be exposed while in a flaccid state. Your penis is longer now when flaccid, so the assumption is that your erection then should be at least equally enlarged. The reason it isn't is because when you had an erection previously some inner penis is pulled out, but now that it already is out because your ligament has been stretched you don't see additional length. In effect you have made yourself a shower rather than a grower. I just came across an article in the Electronic Journal of Human Sexuality, Volume 2, March 19, 1999, which varies that my hypothesis was correct. In the article it is referring to 46 men who had their upper suspensory ligament cut, and their dissatisfaction with their erect gains from the procedure.
" Erect penile length (n = 46) did not significantly change. The method of cutting the suspensory ligament simply releases the hidden, internal penis to hang outside of the body when flaccid. When the penis is erect, the internal penis naturally extends to its full length. This was not clearly understood by some of the patients in this sample because they expressed their discontent with a lack of increased erect length. The mean before surgery was 5.4 inches and afterwards the mean was 5.7 inches."
While LAS's don't cut the ligament, they certainly lengthen it. Of course other PE exercises will help with erect gains, but why that happens is still left up to conjecture at this point. Don't know if it is the enlarging of cells, the dividing of cells or perhaps a combination of both. As long as it is thicker, longer, and healthy - who cares!!!
