Thread: LOT theory disproven?

ok then I have heard many times here that the LOT (Loss Of Tug) theory has been disproven so why hasn't JP edited this our of this program? I know that a lot of beginners get confused with the whole LOT theory so surely if it is not needed JP should take it out to prevent all the posts by new members who have became confused over it?

PE applies to different men in different ways. For some LOT means little, for others it can means big gains in a short amount of time through more focused lig stretching. However, it's not the "hard and fast" rule it may have been a few years ago. But, it's still a theory that should be in the toolbox when you need to change things up or try PEing a different way.
It's just a theory and method of exercising and should be seen as such.

Loss of tug simply applies to how loose your ligaments are. A theory is just that a theory. If you are focused on getting a better flaccid hang then slowly loosing your ligaments would be part of your goal where bed fowfers, downward tugs, etc... are helpful.Begin 7/25/2011:

Oh well people should sotp claiming it has been disproven then lol if it was disproven then it should be removed because if a theory was disproven in theoretical physics the scientists wouldnt keep on using it! But as you say it is beneficial to some and therefore has NOT been disproven?new stats 4th Sept 2011
