Thread: Turtling after sport

Not quite sure if this is the correct section to post this thread
Anyway, my normal flaccid length is about 4" which is decent, not great but acceptable. However whenever I do sport that involves running my penis shrivels up to about 1-2" in length which can be embarrassing. It only happens in sports that involve running, after the gym for example it is fine but after rugby it is comparatively tiny!
What causes this? and what action could be taken to remedy it?
P.S. It has always been like this so it is not as a result of starting PE

Blood going to places other than your penis. It's normal.

When you are running, your cock and balls don't like to get tossed around, so they retract. Athletic supporters (jocks) can be helpful.

should increased circulation reduce the shrinkage? I have been drinking kingpole's tea and take some supplements so hopefully there will be an improvement
I have always worn cycling shorts (compression shorts) under my shorts for warmth and support but it never seems to make a difference

I used to have the same issue when I played rugby years ago.
Mixture of blood diversion, adrenaline & playing in cold weather = turtling.
Some people seem immune to it.
I never tried it back then but a few JAI stretches in the toilet before you hit the showers could be an option to try.
Thing is most guys understand the effect exercise can have, so there should be no issue - it is stupid really.Vulcan

I agree completely that it is very stupid of me but it is disconcerting to see guys who are immune to the turtling effect! lol
But yeah you are right, I shouldn't worry about it

I just did a search and couldn't find instructions on how to do a JAI stretch, I read the name fairly often and was thinking of incorporating it into my routine.
So, what is a JAI stretch?
