I want to gain 3 inches in length but I'm not sure if its even possible for a person to gain more than 2 inches. Someone please explain to me how gains and plateaus work (if that is the correct term).A wise man learns from the mistakes of others, an idiot learns from his own.

The only way to know how much you can gain is to work to the point where you no longer gain. Everyone is different and there's no way of knowing how much someone has the potential to gain, especially with the different routes people take.

PlazmaGunz, I would encourage you to maintain your long term goal of three inches. A big HOWEVER, you must also set smaller goals. Three inches is a lot in terms of penis enlargement progress. Let's just say, for the sake of the example, the average penis size is six inches. If that person gains three inches, that would be a 50% INCREASE in length. Think of it this way, I am 6'4" and I weigh 180lbs. A 50% increase in muscle would put me at 270lbs! I would go from the average size of a shooting guard in the NBA to the size of the biggest linebackers in the NFL. It is an enormous transformation.
What I would do if I were you is to think of where you want to be in six months and 12 months. Adjust your goals as you progress, run into plateaus, get busy, etc. I would say every 6 months if you are not gaining AT LEAST a 1/5 of an inch then you need to change your routine dramatically. Your body adjusts to the environment, it has to in order to survive. If you are not seeing progress for a period of 6 months then you are not doing something correctly. Bygg D makes some great points(again). I would set the short term goals. They dont need to be much, maybe 1/4 inch in length and 1/8th in girth for 6 months or so, Depending on how you grow you may make it much faster. remember that this is a marathon, not a race and most who are successfull make PE a way of life. i will probably never stop, not untill I kick the bucket. If I reach my goals I will still PE for health.
There have been some that have gained 4 inches or more, one is a man called Bib, AKA Bigger, the designer of the Bib Hanger. We have members hera that have had massive gains as well. I set a short term goal and was very lucky to achieve it ahead of time but if i had not I would still be happy. best of luck with your goals.Going an inch and 1/2 deeper than before

Most people start with short term and long term goals, and their goals always change. There's a chance 3 inches can be gained but you will have to devote years to PE. I think I heard of someone doing jp90's routine for years and still slowly gain from it.
