  • Should Christians PE?

Disclaimer: This thread is not meant to offend. It is directed squarely at other fellow Christians who may be on these forums. If you do not hold Christian beliefs, you don't have to post. Or, if you are not Christian but are familiar with their beliefs and feel you have something helpful to say that's fine.

I have noticed that when I have not PE'd in awhile it feels really good and I have no problem getting and staying hard. As the days and weeks go on though, it gets harder to stay erect by manual stimulation alone. Previously, I would simply recall to memory a porn video I had watched recently and that would really help. I am a new Christian but I still like PE and am a little conflicted. I am not married which means that I have no woman in my life that it would be acceptable for me to have sexual thoughts about. Continue PE or not? That's what I'm trying to decide.

Also. many Christians I have talked to seem to see PE as some kind of horrible evil. I myself was asked not to come back to a Christian college because I refused to let the school leadership tell me what to do with my own body. To me, it's like bodybuilding. Seriously, what's the difference?

So in summary, should a Christian PE? If so, does anyone have staying hard techniques to share that don't involve lustful thoughts of women?

alot of people on this forum say that porn is terrible and bad for eq because you should get aroused from stimulation and not by the idea, it makes alot of sense and im sure it helps to last longer

as for the religion topic, i think you shouldnt let anyone tell you what to do

I'm Irish born and English bred, also i'm a Roman Catholic and there is nothing to say that you shouldn't. Infact if you've read the bible you would remember at some point someone saying "your body is a temple, treat it as one" so if you apreciate your penis and want it to be healthy and want to be a VERY GOOD CATHOLIC P.E.
        Good Luck with your gains,

Makes sense. Quite apart from a size increase, I've always thought that PE is good simply for the penile health benefits.

I am a Christian and I see nothing wrong with PE as long as it does not become the focus of your existence.

Why do people work out and try to stay physically fit? Why can't those same reasons apply to keeping your penis fit? PE is not all about growth, at least for me. It is about achieving and maintaining good health of a very important piece of our bodies. How can one fully appreciate the potential of a monogamous relationship without the intimacy that sex brings?

I, as well as you, have porn in my past and am in the process of "rebooting". I try to stay focused on the feeling when trying to get hard, and not on remembering some porn I viewed or thinking about myself being in a sexual encounter that will never happen. It took years to get me to this point, so I cannot expect to reboot in a month or two.

Then you and I have something in common. With the exception of a few topless pics on one day, I have been completely porn free since November 21st. I hope with God's help to remain porn-free.

There is nothing in the bible that says one should not stay fit, staying fit is not specific to one body part. I would think it is alright and should be veiwed as any other hobby. If your direct intentions do not conflict with the golden rules then why would it be looked down upon. Drinking is fine, drinking in excess is not. Working out is fine but if you work out to the point of being neglectfull to your wife and family then you are not loving thy wife as you would love thy self. see where I am going with this. PE, workout, enjoy any other hobby you may have but always keep your prioritys staright. If you are Christian then Your GOD wishes you to be happy and if you can make your sexuality better for your self and/or your wife then I think you will not be judged for it in a negative way.

Depends on the war and the reason, GOD will wage war himself. What we are not suppose to do is fight wars for the government of man.

Good responses guys. My parents found out about my PE intentions through negligence on my part and denounced it as horrible. As stated in my OP, I was asked not to return to a Christian college because I refused to back down on doing what I want with my own body. I was just looking to get the perspective of some other Christians. I also don't believe there is anything wrong with it. It is like working out any other part of the body.
