I think what happens is people are trying to encourage newbies to be realistic as in don't set too big of a goal encase you're a slow gainer or an inconsistent pe'er..It can and is hugely discouraging and depressing when the gains don't come and you have high expectations.(and its human nature to grasp on to ideal, so g4 has had the ideal gains.. he has had the rarest gains.. sure its possible you could be a rare breed like him or you could be a rare breed like the slow gainer)
Its like when you say "I want to go to on vacation, i need $5,000 to do this.. you calculate how much of your pay you need to put aside to achieve this in 7months.. On paper is sounds and seems due able..but then life happens, reality strikes, things that you didn't factor in occur or you over estimated how much money you would be making during that time.. So you fall hugely short of your goal(even though someone else had achieved it)
Its good to have goals, its nice to have dreams..but many smaller goals are better then one huge giant goal.
The other reason people are critical is because we worry about newbies hurting themselves by trying to rush the gains.Last edited by TINKERBELL; 01-08-2012 at 03:44 AM.

Believe that you can gain 4 inches and you will, the mind is powerful. Let nobody tell you otherwise.

Being realistic is important because it is easy to deceive oneself that one can achieve what may really just be impossible. If one's size is 6x5 then a more realistic current goal should be 6.5 x 5.25 while the long term would be 7 x 5.5 even though once reached the long term goal, of course, one could raise it by .5 x .25. These are more realistic and do not set one up for disappointment down the line. The current goal should always be the main focus and never too high. Be happy with any gains you get showing that PE is working which is inspiring to continue on that quest whatever the reasons may be.
Another thing about going overboard about goals is that one can try too hard (overdoing) in order to see results but in the process hurting one's member, goals, process which will evidently lead to disappointment and skepticism. All things with patience and time.Begin 7/25/2011:

Jaggers I think the reason people were put off on your thread is because you've been doing a lot of PE work, even PEing on your off days, and even though you suspect you've broken blood vessels you are still extending like a monster. I'm new to this community, but what you've wrote sounds scary :O

Possibly rename this thread "fuck all of you concerned PE vets with considerable experience who are trying to prevent me from injuring myself."

I dont think the body would create growth that quick at all, maybe a mm a month but not an inch! just my opinion...........dont get me wrong, it works! i noticed it when i went back to original extender whilst current one was being fixed! ive def gained as my original didnt stretch him much at all on full limit of extender (nearly coming off the threads) and I have moved up a notch on my current extender but my gains are not always apparent but if anything, when I do get really horny, a lot more blood enters penis, Soo girth mainly for me and id say 2mm in length but only when at my best!
start I said 7'' but think it was more 6.8'', Im consistently now 7'' NBPEL (7.7'' BPEL) and also I said girth was 5.7'' start but i think he was more 5.5'', now im consistently 5.7'' erect girth, also take about 8 pills a day to help....whether it does or not!!!
I log my progress on Male Edge site, currently 300 hours stretching but only do hour or 2 a day now on full tension (2800 grams) did 4 hours a day at first but on 2400 tension, a good stretch for 2 hours i feel is better than 12 hours like some guys say they do on barely a stretch!??! You cant wear it all day on a good stretch, I have tro allocate time to watch Tv or go on laptop whilst i stretch him, sometimes the stretch does hurt a little and concentration is on nothing but my penis so when guys say they wear it for 9-12 hours a day, im sorry but my view is your wasting time that 2 hours full stretch would do! my BPXL is 8.25'' and BPEL 7.7'' so my stretch is 0.55'' more than it would normally be erect! no point fitting extender and stretching him to 6'' for 20 hours, theres no strain/tension on penis tissue at all!!!
Please say if im talking POO but with my routine after a week of 2/3 hour a day sessions at full tension, the soreness below glands requires a good rest day and plenty of vaseline daily to sooth redness from being clamped!! sometimes have a week off as rest is just as important and working also.Last edited by BIGCROC; 01-08-2012 at 05:44 AM.
