Thread: Hanging before girth work

I just finished the JP 90 days, im researching hanging and ive read the 101 (wish there was a video instructional, it's abit hard to visualise). The hanging instructional said you want to hang for length before you start girth. I've ordered a bathmate which I want to add to my jelq routine but I believe pumping and jelqing is for girth. I don't want to reduce my hanging success by getting too much girth. But how can you avoid this when hanging is only recommended for long time PEers? If I started to hang, could I still continue pumping and jelq? Or should I get as much growth from stretching bathmate and jelqing, and then start hanging after 12 months?

I would wait 12 months before I'd hang. Hanging is very dangerous and is just downright scary to me.

Kind of a double edged swaord. You need to decide which way you are going to go with PE as faras length or girth being the primary goal. I would not go for too much as far as girth goes if you plan on hanging. I would at leat do your conditioning routine and if you decide to hang, I would not worry about pumping while hanging. I tried to do a hanging / pumping routine and decided very quickly that my pump was going to take a long break. I felt as if it was a bit too much to do both with any sort of commitment. I may pump for the thrill of it from time to time but they both require alot of time and dedication to get the most out of either one.
I am a big fan of pumping but for me I have decided hanging is my main focus, why do both half assed. Cusp makes a very good point about being conditioned. In all reality one could start hanging from day one but its intense and I think you should consider trying manual first, get conditioned well and take the time while you are conditioning to research more about PE and hanging altogther. Hanging will take you a lot of time each day and requires major dedication.Going an inch and 1/2 deeper than before

Thanks guys, it's a dilemma because I want both length and girth hopefully at the same time, and hanging sounds like a huge commitment, perhaps il try it in 6 months after I've done a fair bit of bathmate and manual exercise. Apparently you can get length from the bathmate by pulling it to get the inner penis out so see how goes

its important that you have a firm foundation in order to fully have your wanger ready for growth. after jp90, I would move into extended sets of manual stretches so that you can quickly compensate and adjust in order to find the comfort zone that is best. I actually prefer extended stretching sets to hanging simply due to the comfort level. sure it takes more effort, but hey... while you are developing a gorilla grip, you can use your legs, stomach, and other arm for leverage. as far as length versus girth, it is important to understand that growth/expansion in one promotes the growth/expansion of the other. this means that if you only perform "length" exercises, you are going to have gains in girth... and vice versa. feel things out. listen to your penis in regards to responses in your EQ in the hours/days following variations and experiments in your routine.

Cusp, why would you say this? It would seem to me that hanging is the most controlled type of PE you can do. You can start off with minimal weight. I started off with only about 2.5lbs, and the weight is always determined, and placed in one and the same direction. Most other PE is variable, and subjects tissue towards expansion in a multitude of different directions.

That's awfully one sided. Hanging can be just as safe an any other type of PE as long as you approach it just like any other type of PE. With a level head and some common sense. As far as a video for a hanging demo goes, here's one I found for the BIB hanger. The link should open the video in your browser and not take you anywhere else.
