I have a few questions about flaccid bends.

1. Most importantly, are these the best girth exercise for a [soon to be] intermediate? I plan to implement a light girth exercise when my third month of conditioning is over.
2. How high or low do you place your fingers? Does finger placement affect where gains are made?
3. I stretch in the morning and jelq at night. When should I do flaccid bends (assuming this is a good first girth-specific exercise)?

My goal is to finish off the final month of conditioning, and then gradually add in some light girth work. I'm already doing v-jelqs, which I understand should benefit girth somewhat.
