I think that jelqing sometimes can promote the baseball bat effect but a lot of experienced PEers say that if you make sure and start your grip as close to your pubis bone as possible then it won't happen. For me, I didn't measure my base girth when I first started and I can't remember if I've always had a baseball bat effect or not. However, since I've started measuring by base girth (about a month and a half ago) it has increased at essentially the same rate as my MSEG. So I'm really not sure whether mine is a result of jelqing or not.PEGym Theme Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RH76tfDxm7Y

I only get the baseball bat effect after doing lazy ass stretches (LAS), which is curious because I thought they were supposed to increase base girth?

It is a possiblility. Squeezes with a grip as far down as you can can help even out the baseball effect. I've gained a little under 1/2" in girth and the difference between my measurements hasn't changed much. Base still the largest, glans larger than shaft, middle still the smallest(by 1/8"), and right below my Glans in between. I primarily jelq, stretch, and squeeze.Initial(9-1-11): BPEL: 7.25", BPSFL: 7.75", EG: 4.75", BEG: 5.25", BPFL: ~5.0", FG: ~4.0"
