• L-Arginine or L-Lysine - Migraines, Dizziness, Urge to Vomit

please hear me out on this one guys, i know i have posted this in the wrong category, probably why no one ever responded back. not sure if this is the right category for this topic. anyways. been taking JPS supplements and 3 of the 5gs for the past 4 days. last saturday when i went to work, i had a really bad migraine, dizziness and felt like vomitting. had to go home and rest for 3 hours and it went away. the only pills i took that day before i went to work was my multivitamin, super b complex, and 1 500mg l-arginine. the night before my work day, i took l-lysine before i slept. i don't know which pills cause that. not a great feeling to have. now i have not been taking l-lysine for the past 2 days because i don't want to end up having those side effects again. still taking 2 500mg of l-arginine and the rest of the pills, no side effects so far. will it be bad to not take l-lysine and just take l-arginine and when is the best time to take it. l-arginine at night or morning or l-lysine at night or morning any advices will be appreciated.

Multivitamin inlcudes 25mg of Zinc (I take 2 daily, 50mg of Zinc plus what ever food i ate that has zinc in them. JP recommended 60mg of Zinc)

Morning - 1 multivitamin, 1 500mg L-arginine, eat breakfast then 1 super b complex, 1 odor-free garlic tablet
Afternoon - eat lunch then 2 60mg = 120mg of Gingko Bibloa and 1 550mg of Ginger Root
Evening - eat anything then 1 multivitamin, 1 odor-free garlic tablet, 1 500mg L-arginine, then do my PE routine
Night - eat some food then take 1 odor-free garlic tablet, then ****1 500mg L-Lysine <------haven't took that for 2 days.***

Taking those 5 days and 2 days off, same schedule as my PE Routines.
So if anyone can let me know if i should switch the supplements around different time, let me know please. Sorry for the long message. THANKS GUYS

You're taking a lot of zinc, the UL for a healthy adult is 30mg. You could be getting zinc poisoning.

Zinc — Health Professional Fact Sheet

Read the "Health Risks from Excessive Zinc" part. My bad the UL is 40mg, still you're probably taking too much.

i don't think it was the multivitamin that cause those bad migraines dizziness and urge to vomit. i took all of those supplements except for l-lysine today and right now i don't have any side effects. so I'm guessing it's l-lysine, but I'm still confused because i took that before i went to bed, then next day for work, took multivitamin, super b complex, and 1 l-arginine, then all those bad side effects just came out of nowhere after 2-3 hours. either l-arginine or l-lysine.

yeah probably, but i wonder why in JP 90 Day routine, he specifically said take "60mg of Zinc". i didn't bought the bottle of zinc on its own because the multivitamin i got says each pills includes 25mg of zinc, so i took 2 of that daily, basically taking 50mg of zinc all together and whatever food i eat that has zinc in them. too much zinc can cause migraines, dizziness, and urge to vomit? sorry for this complicated question brian

I've seen people bitch about JP90s before for that advice. Yea, like that article says, excess zinc can cause "nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and headaches." Anything over 40mg a day increases the risk of these symptoms. Now that doesn't mean for sure that the zinc is whats causing it but I think there's good odds. And btw just throwing out certain things for 1 day probably won't give you a good reading of what's making you sick. If something makes you sick 1 day there will probably be enough of it in your system to keep you feeling sick for a couple of days.

Too much to list, but go to gnc.com and click on vitamin and supplements on the left side somewhere, then click all multivitamin, then click the product thats says "Mega Men Energy & Metabolism". Thats the one im taking. I believe you click supplements fact and it will show all the stuff inside on one pill. I take 2 daily.

How about taking nothing for a few days and re-think all those supplements. If you're a young person you need nothing more than a good multivitamin.
