  • need advice on a possible injury?

Hey guys, Ive been doing PE for quite a number of years, but unfortunately I never stuck with it all the way through, I did several months without success, then stopped and returned to it several years later and that time I actually had success. but then I started having privacy issues and a possible injury too and stopped. Ok 2 years ago when I had my first noticable gain (From slightly under 6 inches in BPEL to 6.5 BPEL) I had a sort of dull pain on the right side of the shaft so I was in a weird state of mind. I was ecstatic about achieving my first gain, but at the same time I was pissed off thinking I cant continue due to feeling pain. I guess I was overtraining. at the time I had integrated some squeezes into the routine. My problem was I never kept accurate record of how long I was stretching and jelqing! I would build up slowly and increase over time but not count or look at the clock or anything. but if I had to guess my routine was about an hour, but this was after building up for months of course. Im determined to start again but I want to know if I damaged something. Ive recently started stretching and jelqing again but I feel that dull pain in the same spot again on the right side about in the midshaft area. So to clarify I first felt the pain 2 years ago and stopped PE ing. Now ive begun again and I feel the same pain. Damn it kinda sucks, its not a sharp major pain just a dull soreness that will be there for a few hours or so after a routine. One thought I have is that when I had the success before I lived in a place that had a bathtub and Id soak for long periods before doing my routine and it felt really great! I think the bathtub was an amazing warmup method and a relaxing place to do the routine. I feel it may have been the key to my gain. I no longer live in the place with the tub and just warmup in the shower. It feels less effective. in my new attempt ive started slow and I do 5 minutes of stretches and 10 -15 min of jelqs. I wanted to hear some advice from other guys who have had a similar pain like this that lingered like mine? also how important are the JAI stretches? do many of you guys still do those? Thanks alot!

Are you making sure to use a very light grip and fairly low erection level when jelqing?

You may just be pulling to hard as mentioned by BTBrian. I doubt you had an injury that lasted 2 years and did not heal from your routine. If you had such a severe injury odds are you would have ED along with it. Are your erections good, freaquent and regular. Is there any discoloration and after you PE are you easily able to have an erection?

Go to any store and buy a bag of any type of rice, take the rice and fill any normal tube sock. Heat in the microwave between 1 minute to 2 minutes (depending on your microwave). Use the advice the guys above listed as well. I find my rice sock is just as good as a bath for warming up. As well as warming down. Use this for ten minutes before any PE exercises and i believe the pain or discomfort you are experience will slowly go away. Time heals all.

thanks a lot guys, really. well its complicated (the question about erections) because they havent been good for a long time now. im 39 so thats part of it but ive had depression/anxiety issues for so many years and its always affected my libido and caused some ed. I was actually relying on stuff like viagra for a while and it sucks. My ED /low libido was an issue long before I got into PE, i got into PE hoping to overcome it. Now Ive been trying different herbs to help out like the 5 Gs and tongkat ali which help sometimes. At the time when I first felt the pain 2 yrs ago I was still having good erections ,my routine was working well. Now Ill definitely try starting slower and lighter, ie lighter stretches/less pressure on jelqs along with better warmups. I cant do rice sock now, no microwave, but Ill do hot wraps with hot water for longer periods of time. Thanks again guys! I really wanna feel that feeling again that I did when I saw that gain. damn it was a good feeling! Ive failed to maintain that gain it seems, but Im gonna make a comeback.

Age has little to do (or SHOULD have little to do) with erection quality. How is your health in general? Are you actually healthy, or medicated into "good" health? Are you on ED meds? Not being a prick, I'm just trying to get a feel for you. Are you overweight? Had your blood work done recently? If jelqs cause this problem, why are you jelquing? There are other alternatives. It's funny, the rare "injury" I seem to see a guy report is usually caused by jelqing. It makes sense if you consider what you are doing. You force blood through your penis under a high amount of pressure. The veins are also subjected to this pressure. Thrombosis in a vein perhaps? Does the pain go away when you don't jelq for a while? If not, I'd go get looked at by a urologist. Tell them you had some rough sex a while back and your penis bent in an odd direction and you've had a lingering pain issue ever since....assuming you're shy about talking about the issue.

yes the pain does go away when I stop PEing. the pain wasnt there at all for the past several months while i wasnt PEing, i just wasnt sure if it was caused by the jelqing vs the stretching. so ill consider only stretching for a time and stop jelqing after perhaps a week or 2 of recovery with only kegels . as for the meds , the only meds im currently on is for thyroid and they are the natural version. i have viagras on hand for special occasions but not for regular use.
im a bit overweight but im working on that, ive begun running and weightlifting again. had recent blood tests that show the low thyroid which can explain some of the low libido/depression, also had borderline high cholestrol too which explains some of it. im doing the fish oils a lot now which will help out for sure along with multivitamins, B's, and experimenting with rhodiola which has some good research behind it. so you think maybe a light stretching routine without jelqs for a time may be a good idea?
