Hey,
Obviously if a routine is working you shouldn't change it.
The JP90 didn't work (with regards to growth, which technically it isn't meant to but pretty much everyone else seems to gain from it) so I changed it.
I've only been on my new routine 2/3 weeks so far and it seems good - well it killed my eq so something must be happening - but I was wondering how long I should give a routine before changing it.
I'm not planning to drop it after 2/3 weeks... obviously, just interested in what the consensus is.
Do people keep plugging away for 4/5 months or change things a lot earlier?Starting stats (12/10/2011)

2-3 months usually is adequate to see if something is working. As far as what routine, you'll just have to experiment. You should be able find something to induce new gains without too much trouble.

current -> 8-1/2" BPEL 2013
Goal ----> 9" BPEL 20??

New gains.... any gains would be more accurate. Keeping the intensity up.

I suggest you try a new and more intense exercise for 2 weeks. Then take 2 days off, edge and measure on the second day off.
Then you'll know if you found a winner.Lurked since 2010

I gained a little bit from JP's, length only. However in the 2nd and 3rd months I chopped and changed it slightly, added about double the amount of stretches.
I'd do something similar, read up on more advanced stuff if you haven't been phased by what you've done so far?

I'd personally do 3 months at least, especially if it's working. No reason to ever change it if you keep growing! However, I always get bored of a routine and tend to change it after about 2 months :/

I had that happen last year or something when I briefly tried to hang, and think I've experienced it with manual stretching as well when I've overdone it. I figure anything too heavy on the stretch routines probably can have that effect. Maybe you can back down on something there, take breaks, or add something to get some EQ back. Most other PE exercises (jelqs,etc.) have given me better EQ overall, I've just learned to be careful on the stretches.

Hey - thanks for the advice guys.
Silurian - I might try two hard weeks thing if the next 6/8 aren't fruitful...they should be though. Also, do you PE everyday with no rests during a 'cycle'?
Jelqinator - what would you say was more advanced than bundled stretches?
BT Brian - if it's working I will not be changing it... will just up the intensity/duration/reps accordingly
Crunch - It's less a drop in eq... more a drop in how easy it is to get hard. When actually hard it's solid, it just sees to take much more effort to get there...Starting stats (12/10/2011)
