Thread: Just finished JP90

I think 1 week off will be fine then. I am excited to move on. I have been good at listening to my body and haven't pulled anything. I am just glad to know what I am doing is working.

I was pissing the other day standing up and when I grabbed my penis I realized how much bigger my flaccid girth felt! It is incredible! Still no gains in flaccid length but I am sure it will come.

Ok how does this sound you guys. I go another 90days, redo JP90 but add 10 reps every week to both exercises.
Like originally you do 150 reps of wet jelqs. I would bump it up to 160reps for week 1. then week 2 do 170 reps. at 12 weeks I would be at 270 reps.
For the V-Jelq JP90 starts with 90 reps. I could increase this by 10 reps a week also so that by 12 weeks (3months) I would be up to 210 reps
So on the last month I would be doing 270 reps wet jelqs, and 210 reps V-jelqs
So thats a about a 80% increase on Wet jelq and 130% increase on V-jelq
I made no girth gain during the JP 90 so I really need to boost the intensity up a little.
How does this sound? Curious to know if this is a good next step.

Oh I forgot about streches for length, should I increase the amount of time for each stretch or add another exercise for length? If so which exercise would be good to add?

Your routine sounds good to me and I would increase the streching intensity too (be it time or strength). Seeing as you're conditioned you could just continue on with the exercises you did on the first 90 days and add extra stretches if you have the time instead of just replacing them with new ones.

If girth is what you're looking for then you could always try incorperating squeezes into your routine. If you don't feel like it yet then just continue on with your routine you outlined above but if you still don't see any gains in 2-3 months, then definitely give them a try.

You could always try doing your exercises timed instead of counting each indivdual rep. E.g. you could jelq for say 10mins and increase this amount by maybe 1 minute a week. Some people on here time instead of count reps because they say counting each rep makes it harder to concentrate on the exercise itself. Quality > Quantity.

You could add a circuit, and do 2 rounds of 30 second stretching. That's one option. You could increase to 1 minute per stretch instead of 30 seconds.
I assume you're only doing the 5 way basic stretches and the circle stretches.
As for the jelq question, your line of thinking is good if you like jelqing for reps. Slow steady increases. Remember that if you keep progressing linearly as you have planned above, your normal jelq: v-jelq ratio will get closer and closer. If that's what you're going for, that's fine.
Do keep in mind that you'll be adding 130 jelqs to each exercise if you do it your way, and sometimes sharp increases in reps lead to rushing the reps and lesser quality work. That's why I'm a 'jelq for time' fan, but it's okay that you differ. Just know that at 3 seconds per stroke, you're looking at an increase of one minute per jelq and one minute per v-jelq every week. +2 minutes per week for 13 weeks means 26 more minutes of jelqing - and that's provided you keep the pace and don't rush.
Honestly, with the numbers crunched, I think there are better ways to go about it.

Third arm, you seem to be implying that something happens if the jelq ratios get closer and closer. Does this do anything I am not thinking of?
Both of you guys, great advice! I am considering timing myself now, because I can focus on the quality of my jelqing instead of having reps on my mind. One rep in JP90 is "a left hand stroke+ a right hand jelq" so wouldn't one rep be 6 seconds then? Or is it 3 seconds a rep. (2 strokes still.)
I timed myself and It took me 10min to do my stretching and
16min to do jelqing (160reps wetjelq, 100 reps vjelq)
If this is true:
6 seconds x 50 reps = 300 seconds / 60 (sec/min) = 5min (it should take 5 min to do 50 reps jelqing)
It should be taking me 16min to do 160 wet jelqs at 6 seconds a rep. 10min to do 100 reps of Vjelq.
s this correct?
3 seconds x 50 reps = 150 seconds / 60 (sec/min) = 2.5min (it should take 2.5 min to do 50 reps jelqing)
It should be taking me 8min to do 160 wet jelqs at 3 seconds a rep. 5min to do 100 reps of Vjelq.
I do the 3 second rep. I did make gains doing this so I assumed it was right, but I guess they would both work?

To make things more complicated, 2 jelq strokes equals one rep for normal jelqing. One left, one right., just as you wrote it above. Simple. However, if you are v-jelqing and doing them like this: up, up, up/right, up, up, up/left; then it makes more sense to consider 3 strokes one rep. (Of course, you still alternate hands left and right to do the exercise). That explains why you'd do fewer reps by number. Whew...I feel like Ace Ventura after he explained a crime! Let me know if the above was unclear.
But in short, there are no problems with doing it that way - just pointing out that the routine's emphasis would change. Personally, I do normal jelqs for 1.5x longer than v-jelqs. 15 minutes: 10 minutes.
I don't mean to complicate things, but when you v-jelq do you go only straight up, or does every third rep go up and to one side (alternating)? That's what can affect the way you will count, if you decide to count reps.
EDIT: This is one of the reasons I say jelq for time. You can add 1 minute per week if you feel the need for progression. Then there's no stress of counting. But some guys feel that they need a numerical gain to make progress, and that's okay too.
