Hey guys, Im about to start my first routine however i've read a few articles on here stating that masturbating (or in particular ejaculating) limits growth. Firstly can anyone tell me why?
Secondly i would like to know if anyone has any tips for cutting down on masturbation? I masturbate at least twice a day and on extreme days (usually when I'm revising) up to five times. I know it seems like a stupid question with an easy answer - "just stop whacking off" but I'm 18 and so I'm always horny. I find it extremely hard (no pun intended) to resist.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I guess it has to do with the fact that when you masturbate and you ejaculate, your penis is tired afterwards .. and he has a harder time to recover from a workout.
I also have difficulty stopping with masturbation (or atleast reducing it). I have a new tactic: I just PE when I feel the need to masturbate, and sport a lot.

It doesn't limit growth, so ignore everything that says it does.
Everytime you get the urge to masturbate excessively, instead get down and do as many pushups as you can. That should help keep your mind focused elsewhere and your body not wanting to masturbate again after the pushups.

I edge for hours at the time on a good day, some on this site think that doing this for many years may have contributed to my current size. But do remember that PE is all theory with no documented evidence for permanent growth from manual exercises. There are no garanties or defenite answers. Be safe and carfull. And keep masturbating, it`s healthy!

I can't say either way if the actual act of ejaculation affects growth. However, I can tell you this: If you want to jelq at an EQ of X (let's say 50-60%), but you just masturbated, you may not be able to maintain - or even attain - that level. So that will have affected your workout quality. Is that happening to you?
As for frequency, maybe you need to make your special time a little more special. Get comfortable, relax and take your time. It will be more fulfilling, and then it will be less compelling to go watch a porno for 10 minutes just to get off.
By "revising" are you referring to days where you do it more to make up for a previous day of no ejaculation? That's what I interpreted, but not sure.
Anyway, you have a healthy libido, just try to make masturbation more fun so that you go for quality over quantity. Other than that, keep busy with alternate activities, and make an effort not to reach a point that you will consider overboard.I am no longer an active member on the PEGym.
