Are you guys feeling your inner penis stretch or just skin stretching? Do you guys even know the difference? do you get them mixed up? Is there any proof? Maybe it's just skin stretching you are feeling? I think I feel the difference when I do a 360 rotating stretch and when I do a Mandingo stretch of a V-stretch. What are your thoughts? I'd like to hear from the big boys. Maybe THEY aren't even sure. Maybe even stretching the skin causes gains???

It is difficult to explain but I think I can tell the difference between skin and ligament stretching when I do stretches. Stretching skin feels "sharp" whereas stretching ligaments is a "duller" sensation, the feeling also originates from a deeper area
The best way to differentiate is to pull a bit too hard for a few seconds and if you feel a sharp pain it is skin, if it is a dull pain it is the ligament

Hopefully you meant to say veteran, as some big boys were born that way and may not have seen a lot of gains. I have been PE'ing for over a decade so I consider myself a vet.
I did manuals when I started and gained 3/4 from stretches and jelqs before all easy gains stopped. I determined that I was a very hard gainer and as such I need lots of time under stress, hence I hang and clamp.
I know that I am grasping internals and not just stretching skin. Stretching skin has a stinging feeling while it is being done and later feels like sunburn to the touch.
As far as what inner penis stretch feels like... I only really started to stretch the inner penis when my ligs finally lengthened after 4-5 months of hanging BTC over 20 hours per week.
Keep in mind that my LOT was already low (7:30-8), so I had very little inner penis left to express as outer penis.
It was an unmistakable feeling that lasted 3-4 weeks before the inner penis lengthened to the point where it and my ligs resisted the stress together and the ache went away. I could palpate the area any time of the day and there would be a dull ache between my scrotum and anus. In that period I gained 5/8 inch BPFSL of which 1/4-3/8 has now translated to BPEL.
My gains from BTC hanging stopped at that point and I did not gain anymore BPFSL even though I increased weight 25%.
If guys can get that ache from manual exercises at SO angles then I applaud them. It was never in the cards for me. Maybe you are referring more to lig soreness rather than inner penis ache. Lig stretch creates soreness on each side of the shaft at the base. Typically I only felt that in the morning when I woke up. It would go away after I moved around.

I have said this several times to guys more experienced than me and it did not elicit any discussion. I maintain that skin is a very quiet limiting factor. When a guy is rock hard and his skin is stretched so tight that it shimmers then IMO skin is limiting. This skin shimmering when erect is a good sign that the ligs and tunica are being stretched.

Thanx so much for your response. very helpful. I think I need to work on the time that I stretch. I never even stretch a full minute in any position let alone 30 seconds, but I know I do some great quality stretches. I grew a bit over 1/2 an inch BPEL and my flaccid is always hanging now an inch longer. It finally swings instead of having a still baby dick. Haha.

Another method is to ensure that you are not just stretching the skin is to pull the foreskin back towards your abdomen with one hand, grip the head of the penis with the other, and then stretch. You should feel the inner muscle being pulled, as was previously mentioned. I hope this helps!Guiness
