Thread: Biggest mistakes not gaining?

I was wondering, many ask how to gain but less questions about not gaining and why thisis happening. Perhaps this can ease the much lately threads about destroyed penises out there
and prevent that. Many make mistakes and add to much force, if done wrong you will never gain.
Please add answers to this question.
Over doing it
Not getting the right level of erection

Inconsistency and/or impatience - Quitting a routine or skipping planned sessions, often prompted by low motivation when gains come slowly.I am no longer an active member on the PEGym.

Lack of gains can be caused by,
Lack of consistency which allows too much rest between workouts and allows tissues to heal stronger not longer.
Assuming that more stress or weight is a good thing, a "goal" vs fatigue (tissue deformation). For some fatigue is a signal to rest more so that they can add more weight when they heal.
Shotgun approach i.e lack of focus, no divide and conquer in the selection of target tissues.
Chases the gains of others by switching routines when the next guy reports his gains/routine/device etc.
No basic knowledge of penis anatomy which in turn inhibits problem resolution when gains stall.
No exercise log, no tracking of stress, time, weight, comfort, measurements, comment concerning fatigue and injuries, numbness etc.
No understanding and practice of basic PE theories because some guy said it didn't work for him or he heard that it was debunked and the shotgun approach is more exciting.

I would say it can happen if you do your routine passively. In other words, you go through the motions and don't focus on the exercise. For example, just passively moving my hands along my shaft when jelqing, instead of focusing on moving a good amount of blood. Like anything, when you keep doing a routine, you start doing it without needing to think about it much. I found this was happening to me, and that I had to re-focus on every stretch and jelq in order to avoid it.Starting (02/21/12): 4.81 BPEL x 4.31 mid-EG
