    Hey everyone,

    I would like to start a good stamina workout and I am interested in towel raises. How should I start with those? Can you injure yourself if you overdo it?

    From what Big Al says once you can do 50 erect kegels you're ready to start with towels. Start with a wet wash cloth and get heavier as you go..ie: bigger dry towel..ad water for weight and progressively change towels and water in that fashion.

    Start with flacid kegels ,work onto erect kegels ,increase length of hold and number of erect kegels ,only then think about towel raises.
    Yes injury is possible if you are not conditioned.
    Remember to include reverse kegels in your workout.

    Towel raises are awesome BUT very intense. Do like Peg said and work your way up to them gradually.
