Men get "thick" comments at 5" girth, so theres no way 5" girth is the true average.

I have never got one comment about girth or length or anything to indicate I was anything but maybe average. IMO 5"+ girths are fairly common. Actually 5.5"+ girths are also.

5.5+ is not common, unless you mean on a PE site of 40k members and there's a poll that shows around 300 people(the ones above average)
Or people saying they have that much girth or women that don't know measurments and they say it's thick so you figure they mean at least 5.5".
Studies don't lie as much as you want them to because of what people around you or the internet says, why believe a few hundered random people or friends than real studies.

The Kinsey data shows only 19.6 % of guys at 5.5 inches of girth or bigger.

And that is self measured. I think the Kinsey girth data is probably more accurate
than the Kinsey length data, but I wouldn't be surprised if even the girth data is a little high.
These guys measured at home. I'm sure they got their best boner going and I wouldn't
be surprised if some of them kegeled while measuring.

Also, I think they were told to measure to the nearest quarter inch. Does anyone know if this is true?
If so, I doubt any of them rounded down.

Since the girth average from Kinsey is right around the girth average in some of the more
recent studies that weren't self measured, I think it's probably reliable.

So I would take 19.6 % of guys at 5.5 inches of girth and above as probably close to the truth, but
possibly even a little high.

One out of five guys isn't extremely rare, but it's far from average.

So are 4.5's. I see them all the time here and in the introduction thread it is very very common to see dozens of men with 4.5 signing up and they feel they are below average by a mile when in reality if they seen as many newbie threads as I look at they would feel much better about what they are sporting. Nothing wrong with 4.5,5 or 5.5. They are all useable and will knock a chick up and can pleasure them as well.
Plain and simple fact is that 5.5 is a decent chunk above average. Most guys let the numbers they fear stick in their heads and that is a fact.

I dont think so at all. Photo-wise, yes definitely. But if a girl just came from a 6" 4.5 penis to a 6" by 5.5 penis shes just gonna see a really thick 6 inch penis. I bet you IHaveAHugeNick can attest to that at 6" girth with 6 BPEL. If that was the case, women would have thought he was 4 inches, and by talking to him about it, i'm pretty sure they saw his dick as just about average lengthwise along with the other penises with much smaller girls of the same length. So I think this doesn't apply at all in real life. Pictures yes, real life no.

I think it does make it look short tho, even if i look into the mirror from the side it looks short. The only angle it doesnt look short is when i bend it down and look into the mirror. I started PE 5.9 inches long 5.9 inches girth....... now i am 6.5 inches length and 6.1 girth.......it still looks short especially when the balls hang a little forward making it looks even shorter...... nothing i can do except carry on stretching

I was talking with an ex of mine recently. My wife doesn't know, but it was all cool. I'm not looking to hook up, it was just some back and forth. Weird thing is, I mentioned this site to her and she was intrigued. She asked my why I would consider enlarging my unit since she felt it was big. I told yes, girth-wise perhaps, but I want more length. Now, it's been a long, long time since she's seen my unit, but her next words stunned me. "I think you were plenty long. yeah, chodeboy, I notice the same thing. To me my erection looks small in the mirror when looking at it from the side, but if I do that angle thing that you are talking about it looks good. For whatever reason, i've seen it so many times on online forums, it seems that guys with average to slightly above average lengths and big girths feel like it makes them look shorter. But, for some reason, it seems as if it is only to the eye of the beholder. I remember this one guy talking about his 6 NBPEL penis with a slightly under 6 girth, saying almost every single woman he has been with has said he is one of (if not) the biggest. He also said he looks to himself like he is extremely short due to the big girth, but to women they don't see it that way.

Also IHaveAHugeNick, she guessed your BPEL, which isn't entirely visible. Which means even with the big girth, she probably overestimated your dick length. I think its a load of BS that a big girth makes it look shorter to anyone but the eye of the beholder. Plus, once you stick your dick in, they'll know how big your are instantly.

The present average girth poll we have has over 1100 responses, and over 62% of the guys here are 5.5" or less - that is far from being an average of 5.5". In addition, that is not a what did you start at poll, but rather it is a what are you now after doing PE poll. Sure there are bigger guys here (I am one of them), but we are still the exception, not the rule. Naturally, you would think that PE'ers would be larger than the general public, plus we also have our share of bs'ers. The girth poll that asks what was your starting girth shows nearly 77% of the guys were 5.5" or less. One final point, most studies ask for your MEG, but in the gyms poll that wasn't specified, so unfortunately some (perhaps many?) picked their largest size, not their MEG

Helpmeout mine looks even shorter because the Midgirth is the thickest.... and it has a upward curve..... and the glan is big............and i guess bending it downward looking into mirror with a big glan makes it look large but the length looks really different from different angle.

And the thing about they will know how big you are instantly, it varies tho some girl is larger some girl is tiny.... but i guess when you hit a length of 7.5 with 6 girth is gonna be big anyway lol
