Penile girth averages and modes

Length and girth don't appear to be correlated.

This doesn't sound right at all. Consider two guys: all you know is that one has 4" erect, the other 8". If you had to put money on which of them was thicker, who would you choose?

Even just looking at amateur porn, you can see that length and girth are correlated to at least some extent. Sure, unusually long/thin penises and unusually short/thick penises do exist, but I think cocks that are more or less 'well proportioned' are much more common.

Personally I still can't wrap my head around 5" being on the larger side of average, but for me some condoms are just too tight around the base to be comfortable, and I'm only 5"-5.1" in girth. Given Magnums and other larger condoms (Durex Love) are not that much bigger, it must be 6-6+ is extremely rare, since I can't see how anyone of that size could fit comfortably in one.

I started out at about 4.7 inches girth and I never had a problem finding condoms that fit or women who loved my size, so I'd say that's probably around average.
