I was just thinking about this. I had pretty rapid gains in the short time I was doing regular PE - half an inch in about 6 months, possibly a little less time tham that.
I understand that this is fairly common (if not everybody's experience) in the short term, and then it typically slows down from there. However, though I haven't done any PE for a year or so now really, I haven't lost my gains at all, and I still have a half inch bigger dick than I did before coming here.
So this is my question.. pure speculation.. Since my gains seem to be cemented, do you think I could see similar rapid gains if I took up PE again? I mean, if the gains are cememted then starting again would be as good as starting from scratch, right? To explain my question a bit more, I wonder if the reason you don't continue to have the same rapid gains over the next six months is because they're fresh and not cemented?
Does that make sense? Just an idea anyway.. I wondered if there was anything in it. Lazy / wishful thinking maybe?

The Precise Mechanism of the PE Response through Manual and Mechanical Intervention
The first post here explains a bit on his theory of gains and theres a small paragraph explaining how newbie gains are not actual cell growth, its more unfolding of small crimps or folds in the tunica. So imagine a piece of string, laid out straight. Now imagine the string is a bit curly, it isn't as long as the same piece laid straight out. He suggests newbie gains are so fast because they are just like straightening out this piece of string bringing it to its natural maximum length.
So as much as I would love to believe the same were true (I gained half an inch within 4 months ) according to Dr Ric's theory anyway the cementing would just mean its kept at it's maximum length, there wouldn't be any crimps to further unfold. So starting up again would just target regular collagen remodelling. Though you can always try and let us know if it worksI'm back!
