A hilarious look at women's perception of penis size vs reality

Hey all long time reader, first time poster so I figured I may as well make it a good one. A few days ago I was performing a PE'er cliche by searching the internet for forum topics regarding what is considered big to most women. After a bit of searching I came across this thread.

Sifting through it there are many of the usual size doesn't matter responses but also a fair amount of honest answers and many of these had me rather dismayed. Here are some of the quotes;

For me big is 9 inches, too big maybe 12 (but I haven't had one that big yet so can't say), and perfect is 8 or 9 inches.

Variety is always nice, but for me, 8+ and fairly thick. This is about 2" more than my husband.

Now obviously I'm reading this and thinking it sucks not being that huge but I'm also not stupid and know that statistically speaking only 1 in 100 men are over 8 inches. Knowing this fact it becomes pretty easy to figure out what is going on. The place most women are going to get a baseline mental image of penis size for comparison's sake is their past partners and there is nothing men lie more about than the size of their package.

I then became curious and was thinking to myself how can I find testimonials regarding penis size where the exact measurements are known and there is a sampling pool of a fair amount of women? It then dawned on me and it was so obvious I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier. Here is a link to a decent sized dildo on an online sex toy store.

The dildo measures 6 1/2 inches in insertable length by 5 1/4 inches in girth. Now I am sure most of you are aware but to those that are not, this size is basically on the larger end of what is considered to be average when it comes to penis size and from a man's perspective really nothing to go nuts about. What is really interesting here however is some of the reviews. Nearly all the women seemed to be happy with it but I was surprised as hell to read a lot of opinions of what is basically just a slightly above average member. Here are some quotes;

i bought this hoping it would be relatively close to the size of my boyfriend. The length was a longer than expected/advertised but thats easy to work around but I came to find it was a lot girthier than i was hoping which i could handle but it definitely was big.

So there you have it, penis size perception and then reality. Now most PE'ers myself included obsess about the exact size of their member and any miniscule gains made are hugely celebrated. What is so great for us is that most other men go to hilarious lengths (pun intended) when greatly exaggerating the size of their member during bed talk. Due to this phenomenon we pretty much have a sliding scale where you can comfortably add one to two inches to your dick in the eyes of most women.

I hope you all found this to be funny as well as encouraging since those of us who have gotten up to 7 inches may as well be pornstars and those over 8 are basically horses in the eyes of an average woman. Now excuse me as I have to go and jelq some more gains onto my 9 inch manhammer! (really 7.5 but I'm working on it)

Yeah thanks for the constructive reply man. Now I know that men exaggerating dick size isn't exactly news, I just thought it was a funny and unique way of showing it.

Yeah, I remember this friend of mine told me her boyfriend had an 8 inch penis so, I told her to measure it and to her surprise, it was just a little over 6 inches. Funny stuff, but it doesn't change my perception.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Blanket statements are never true... even that one.

You know, some women like it big. Some women don't. Some women have bigger vajayjays. Some have smaller, tighter ones. Some women have more experience and have given birth. Some are the opposite.

While I'm glad this has helped your insecurities, it really didn't prove or disprove anything except that everyone has their own preference on perfect size.

I used to work in a sex store and we sold a variety of sized adult toys. Some were small vibrators... others were pretty big vibrators. Some were smaller than average dildos... some were HUGE (even fists)
And they ALL were sold at some point.

I normally agree with you, but on this I have to disagree. The graph would look more like a rocket ship or unicorn. Maybe even a bowl of mashed potatoes.

Sure I totally understand that everyone is built different and some women do indeed like a big schlong. What I found funny is that it seems almost like a blanket statement when you read some of these websites that women prefer an 8 or 9 inch dick when in reality those sizes only occur in 1 in 100 to 1000 men. The likelyhood of them even experiencing one that size is slim to none.

It would be just like if a website asked what kind of women men liked to date and 50% responded with preferring to normally date a woman with a supermodel level of good looks (1 in 100) to preferring a women with supermodel good looks and natural double D breasts (1 in 1000).
